Biotin?

I recently had a Dr.'s appointment. Standard check up. I had heard about Biotin and how it's good for skin and hair or something like that. I asked him if it would be alright to take it. He said yeah but it's not like a requirement for me or anything. So I just wanted to know has anyone used it and if so what brand, does it really help promote healthier hair and skin? I drink lots of water and am otherwise pretty healthy if that info helps at all. Thoughts?

I have used it on and off before also. I like it because it starts working quickly. I noticed the benefits almost immediately. I got away from it cause I'm terrible at remembering to take them or any mess for that matter. But I held fast for 2-3 weeks straight and that was all it took for me to notice it working. I don't remember having a problem with body hair though. My hair was in much better condition and my nails definitely grew. Skin looked better also. I would recommend them as well. In fact after reading this post I'm going to restart taking them.

(Re)join the club smile I went out and bought a bottle yesterday. Rite Aid was the closest store to me so I just bought what they had. Not sure if they'll be as good but I'm willing to try. I'm also horrible at remembering to take any kind of medicine so I set a phone reminder. I'm excited to see if it pays off or not. Thanks for the feedback!
