Can one be born depressed?

Since a young lad I always had been very quiet but mainly with bad deeds lurking. I look and act nothing like my family, also I have schizophrenia, ADD and bi polar (geez).

In my opinion, the answer is yes.

My brother is schizophrenic and when he was first diagnosed I did a lot of research. One theory was it was caused by a head injury at or around birth.

There can also be a genetic predisposition towards depression.

Yes, it can be genetic.....of course

No one chooses to be depressed but there is more propensity for it if a parent suffered from it
