For or against?
If you could have yourself cloned and then put in hybernation for spare body parts, would this be acceptable?

i think this would be acceptable under certain circumstances. Organ donation is a good system, but far from perfect. There's the anti-rejection drugs for the rest of your life, long waiting lists, etc. And of course someone has to die in order to benefit. I would say yes, if the organs can be grown and harvested independant of whole body, for obvious ethical reasons..
I think some scientists today have a tendacy to focus on what they CAN do and not so much on what they SHOULD do. Cloning could really screw up the nature of things, i think.
