Hey Guys, just wondering if anyone has the same thing as me!!!
I had my Gaul Bladder removed about 12months ago, and slowly have put weight on my stomach despite healthy eating and lots of excersice, im also getting pains under my right rib-cage, the same pains i got prior to having it removed.
Its like ive still got the Gaul Bladder, should i be concerned or just put myself on a strict diet and lose weight.
Its the pains (a kind of aching) that concern me. I admit my diet isnt the healthiest, the pains did dissappear for a few months after surgery , its only recently that they seem to have returned.

I didnt word that very well!

After a few months of no pain, im now getting those pains behind the right rib cage, the same ones i used to get before i had my Gall Bladder removed.
Its now gone, so whats causing those same pains again??
And i did put on a lot of weight over the last few months, maybe its something pressing against the rib cage.
Has anyone else gone thru anything similar?

I had my gall bladder removed about 7 years ago, after a couple of years of intense pain. I did notice a slight weight gain after the surgery, although after cutting down on food (!) my weight went back to 'normal'. And I notice that I get really bloated after eating anything with a high fat content. I put this down to the fact that since I don't have a gall bladder, there's no extra acid being pumped into my stomach to help break it all down, so it takes longer to go through my system. Sucks really. I do sometimes get the odd pain by my stomach, kind of like you said, the same sort of pain that I used to get. Not sure what this is though, but I try not to worry about it too much
