Shoulder surgery

Has anyone here ever had shoulder surgery? And what was it for? This past week, I learned I have calcified tendonitis in my right shoulder. It hurts very much. I'm hoping it is simple inflammation and nothing torn. I've been reading post OP stories which, frankly are scaring the hell out of me. They talk about months upon months of recovery, being in a sling, not driving... and I'm still in my 30s. Ain't no one for time for that... I'm so scared. 😥
*got time for that... ugh

Shoulder surgery is really rough. It's one of those things that no one hopes to have issues with as they get older.

Yes, the time of recovery is scary enough plus the pain and limited mobility. I hope I never have to go through it. That said, anyone who ever went through it is a champ in my book..

Not to sound self-pitying, but yeah, not a pleasant experience. But than again, everyone’s their own pain/troubles seem to be the worst. 😐
I have problems with one of my shoulders. I havent had it checked out. I found some pilates exercises that im going to try first because I don't want surgery.
I have left shoulder issues along with my neck from a serious car wreck.the doctors say theres nothing wrong but clearly when someone hugs me they will tell me my shoulder blade feels displaced...which it is good ol American doctors for ya.
