thanks. that's helpful.
i should have said i am not doing power lifting. i do olympic weightlifting. apparently (as in other aspects of life) the stiffer the better for me! i'll see if i can find a place that will let me try them on.
Just to make sure you are aware. I’m not saying you don’t know, but if you are doing CrossFit, then Adipowers is not the route to go. CrossFit is not Olympic Weightlifting and if you get Oly shoes, you’ll have a hard time doing CrossFit. Powerlifting is different as well and is different from the formers.
If you are strictly doing Clean jerks, snatches, back+front squats, and high pulls, grab Adipowers. Mobility and plyometrics are hard with these.
If you are doing CrossFit style , circuit style , grab hybrid shoes.click to expand

thanks. no, not doing cf.
i am doing clean and jerks, snatches, squats etc. they sound like great shoes and just what i am after. i'm intrigued to do a few squats in them...they sound amazing.
Doing squats with Adipowers feels like home. It’s stable and comforting to know you are safe. The shank is solid and it offers a lot of support. The soles are flat and the heels are raised a high height. Finding a place to let you try them on will be hard. It’s a specialty shoe so it’s rarely kept in stock. The angle allows for an easier deep squat if you have knee mobility issues. If you are fast at getting under the barbell, you’ll notice that pulling yourself in for the front rack position during your triple extension is more comfortable. Walking in them feels really weird though. I suppose it would be easier for women if they’ve worn high heels because I believe the heel height is 1.5 inches which is about +3 cm.click to expand

does anyone wear these?
i'm looking to invest in a pair. a power lifter friend of mine raves about romaleos. people joke about how bad adidas shoes are. i have no idea. it might be worth me popping on a pair and see what feels right.
for those who don these, any recommendations? i have no preference, it's just a bit of a straw poll.
Are BS.
Just a marketing scam to make you believe these 'shoes' somehow make you perform better.
Unless you're a WWE wrestler or an Olympic weightlifter who is lifting somewhat around 500-800LBs, ANY pair of sports shoes with a 1-2 inch comfortable sole would do.click to expand
