Ever since I got my braces off earlier in the year I've been way more diligent in taking care of my teeth.

I've tried everything from oil pulling, brushing with activated charcoal, water flossing, etc. I heard cod liver oil can reverse tiny cavitites... never tried it because allergic to seafood. Y’all got any tried and true methods?

I need to start using an electric toothbrush.

Do you like visits to the dentists? I actually feel excited about them!

I do not like dental visits, but I love how good my teeth look every time I go. My hygienist is awesome. She makes those teeth look like brand new. At the advisement of my dentist I have decided to get braces this year...clear brackets. Never did I think I would be still going through the awkward stage this late in adulthood. I use an electric toothbrush, regular toothbrush as a back up, water pik, dental flossers, interdental brushes. You name it and I got it. I never thought I would say this, but I am tired of brushing my own damn teeth. Sometimes I just don't even want to be bothered with eating anything complicated. Sorry no tips. LOL

Girl I knooow. In the beginning when I got my braces at 22 I was on top of it, brushing and all after every meal but it got so tiring that I would just rather not eat much throughout the day just so I could avoid going through the trouble of cleaning my teeth. It was just too tedious. I lost a lot of weight from it. By the end of my treatment I got super lax and lazy and was like just fuck it yolo. You see I'm the type who wants to find the most quick, lazily yet efficient methods. That's why I spent an extra 2k on clear Damon braces than the traditional clear bracket braces. They were self-ligating and didn't require those monthly rubber bands that could easily stain and get discolored from food that you'd have to wait to get changed until your next appointment 😱 Now my routine consists of brushing, flossing with plackers (I just cannot with the floss threads), and testing out different rinses. I leave everything else for the hygienist cause that's what they're getting paid for! I'm upping my cleanings to 3-4 times a year just so I can be more lax in-between lol.

An electric toothbrushe is a must have in your variety of few brushes .

Oil pulling is great with the rite concoction. I personally like a mix of Aloe Vera juice, wintergreen oil, tea tree oil, a slight drop of oregano oil, and which hazel.

I only like to visit the dentist approximately 2-3 times a year. I feel like a million bucks afterwards. 😁

Wew, that is quite a lot of stuff in your mixture. So you use aloe vera juice as the main base? Mine was just extra virgin, cold-pressed coconut oil. What do each of the other stuff contribute? And what kind of actual results/improvements have you seen?

Activated charcoal is terrible for your teeth.

I know! I used it literally like a few times and was like wtf am I doing, why is this such a big trend.

It definitely makes your teeth whiter.... by erasing all enamel.

That is honestly why I'm so hesitant to try whitening strips or even get teeth whitening done at the dentist's office.

My gums and teeth feel very strong and that is something I need to supplement my lack of dairy. To me healthy and bright white is important soo of course I use zoom on occasion.
