..no thanks, sounds kind of creepy to me, like an invasion of one's privacy.. Why take that away? ..(again, not myspace) Last login date, last million board posts shown is more than enough..

At top, on right, click .... 'All user options'
Then click .. 'Search for other users'
Type in their name and hit 'Search'
If the user name is in Pink .. it means they are on-line
If the user name is in Blue .. it means they are off-line.

p-angel, unfortunately you are incorrect
the two different colors happen because you have previously clicked on that user's profile, not because of their online/offline status. the color of most links on any website change once you click on them.
currently there is no way to tell a user's online/offline status. we might add this feature in the future, but it would be strictly voluntary.
