Unfortunately, I don't think that her telling a bullshit story had anything to do with it. I think it might be the fact that she possibly puts out and you didn't. That is how I am interpreting it by her actions...she uses her sensuality as a weapon and he is smelling free kitty in the air. The only thing is she lives in a different city than us. She came to visit the week of the fiasco, so it is possible there was kitty that week, but then she went back to her city.
Who knows how long she has been back on his list...
I know she is cold and cruel and likely did it as a way of getting him away from me bc she made a comment "why do you always get the hot guys?" which shows she is jealous of me.
She feels content she "got him" to like her over me... Pretty evil and twisted how her mind worked to get him to like her and dump me... Its like she thought way ahead about how it would play out.... but she doesn't understand KARMA> Yep what goes around comes back around to bite you/
She hurt me so much and betrayed me. She is laughing and flirting and feeling victorious, yet it was at my expense, so that victory for her is false and temporary.
God is watching. I know it.
I hope I can get some sleep tonight... 😢

You can and you will. Even though this situation can make you feel as though you are isolated from the world in your pain, always take solace in the fact that while you are there, there are PLENTY of guys out there that would be a whole lot better for you and PLENTY of good and kind hearted people that would enjoy being your friend. These are just two fucked up people among BILLIONS...that is just a bit of a thought for you.

Don't react. This is what she wants. Believe it or not I've been through a similar situation with an ex and a "friend". Though we had broken up well before my "friend" tried to jump on him to piss me off. *rolls eyes* I didn't even acknowledge the situation and yeah...... it frustrated her so I heard. But then again I didn't CARE. He was an ex for a reason and I was looking forward rather then back.

The best revenge you can take on both of them is to move on and be HAPPY with YOUR life.

Ginger is right, the best way to rub it in her face is to be happy...soulless gutter snipes like her hate that shit with a passion. Be warned, she might try to push you further if she is as revenge minded as you say she is. Then you have to figure out if you have the strength to put her in her place (her back) 🙂

Oh yeah Viva. I agree. I'm totally seeing that she will push further to get a reaction. No matter HOW far she pushes don't react or you will be playing into her hands. Don't play her games. The whole situation sucks and it hurts. But my advice is to act like you are above all the petty drama bullshit she's gonna try to drag you into. She does something laugh it off and tell yourself how pathetic and creepy it is that she is trying to get to you even after you clearly ditched her ass.
Rise above it and you will "win" 😉

Wow I dont know what I would have done if I didnt have this forum. I feel so isolated. Believe it or not, she WAS a close friend, and obviously she knew my weaknesses. God please give me strength to fight such evil people.

Not only did she betray me but when I ended the friendship due to the drama she tried to start with me she became almost a stalker. She STILL tries to pull shit on me and I ended the friendship in April. I've been there and it sucks but once I saw how much more drama free my life was without my "friend" in it I'm SO much more happy and calm and I don't have to wonder what my frenemy is up to. Sometimes you have to weed out people in your life for YOU and your happiness. It's never a pleasent thing but it makes your life so much better.

they don't. You see, karma has a very strange way of working on them ever so slightly and they of course will not realize it until it is too late. I will give you a bit of an example:

My ex fiance and I were together for 2 years (most of that is long distance because we are in the Navy). While he was underway on his ship, he had an accident that cut off most of his ear and he went deaf in that ear. There was a possibility that he was going to be completely deaf by the time he was 30. I realized that if I married him I would have to accommodate this and I was perfectly fine about it, I loved him after all. Well, then he started telling me about how his first class was giving him so much shit about being too friendly with girls on the ship (I'm just fine with him having female friends and I don't really get jealous too often) and he keeps having all these weird and fucked up things happening to him. I decide to go investigate...

I fly half way across the world to go see him (I'm in Japan, he's in the states) and what I saw was that he was cheating on me. He didn't out and out say it but the signs were all there. So what I did was told him that if he wanted to we could take a break from dating each other and go our separate ways for a while and he just blew the fuck up. He accused me of not loving him and breaking up with him (I was, diplomatically. He's a Leo as well..) over his accident and everything else. So I stayed with him. ;( Anyway, I flew back and a month later he was screwing around with a waitress and he was being too much of a punk to admit to it, all the while fucked up things were happening to him. (like him getting mugged at gunpoint and getting his nose broken in the process). Karma was consistently and still is biting him in the ass every chance it gets for how he treated me and others. So there is a story for you Baby. She will get hers soon enough...

She's NOT happy. Not really. Is a person who has to go behind a friends back and do what she did to "get" a man because she isn't capable of doing it by just being her sound like a happy person? She has to go to low levels to achieve what she wants. She had to "take" something YOU had first.
Maybe she is trying to convince herself she is happy or my guess is if she knows you are reading her words she is trying to make digs at YOU. She is spending all this energy on YOU and trying to bring you down because she can't stand she's not at your level. That sounds like a sad person to me.

Hang in there. They WILL get theirs it happens every time 🙂
