Leos aren't meant to go back to. Once they prove disloyal, and a large period of time hasn't passed.. then you're not dealing with the love you deserve.
A Leo will find a way for receiving the love they crave, even if that includes cheating.

If you broke off with him then there is a chance in the future he may respond positively to contact from you - but this would be an ego thing for him. And he may even take you back, but as your relationship was. Is this what you want. Leave it for a while and see how you feel in the a couple of months. He has been clear with you, so don't expect anything to change if you get back together with him, you will be going back to what you left. The initial stages of a break up are very hard no matter how long the relationship was or under what rules the relationship existed, give yourself some time to digest and heal - become stronger so you can deal with what happens in the future.

I mentored under a Taurus for school. First close relationship with a Taurus. Her and I connected on a spiritual and internal level. I still consider her my mentor and we still talk quite often.

still not offering any changes to the situation. basically just saying
he wants me in his life and doesnt want to lose me but no promise of
any decisions or not even a deadline of the decision.
it finally ended with him saying i can have time but he will always feel
love for me.
