Posted by JustALeoI went through that a year ago. You'll need to buckle down and prioritize your needs vs. your wants. I don't know too many Leos who feel secure during financial straits, so I suggest focusing on building up your money for now.
I've been having a horrible month dealing with money, school, traveling/commuting and emotions. I also haven't even been at the gym like normal and I'm so restless. I even try to slee but always waking up or not being able to sleep at all.
Everyone keeps telling me I don't look like myself, I'm trying to stay positive but I've started being super emotional lately too, not like me at all!
Posted by JustALeoAh, that makes sense. Try not to obsess about the reasons for the break up. Look at the things you (both) could have done better and let it be. That way you can focus on more pressing matters.Posted by ChuckcemPosted by JustALeoI went through that a year ago. You'll need to buckle down and prioritize your needs vs. your wants. Thanks for the advice, I'm actually prioritizing and remaining focused and make due with what I can until I have relief. I was struggling bad for the past 2 weeks because my gf left me but I think I've finally accepted it and things seem to be getting better! Hope everyone stays positive!click to expand
Posted by JustALeoThat is definitely rough, but know that this is only a temprorary situation. As you've said, you are surviving, which means this is something you can get through. Also know that you don't want a partner who will leave you when times get tough. She's showed you her true colors and opened you up to find someone better. Focus on your needs for now. Once those are squared away, you can start rebuilding.Posted by ChuckcemYa, it was hard because everything was going good like a relationship I've never had before and I guess her feelings changed or something happened. So the sudden break up hit me pretty hard, but I'm getting better.Posted by JustALeoAh, that makes sense. Try not to obsess about the reasons for the break up. I have a hard time financially right now because my veteran benefits haven't kicked in, and so until that I have to commute for school 3-5 hours every day M-F and it just takes a toll on me. I barely surviving on what I have, but I'm surviving! Patience and perseverance, strength and guidance from God will get me through it!click to expand

Again, thank you for the advice! It's good to know people still care and want people to get better. On my long drives I think about how sad it is that it takes a huge tragedy to bring people together. Like Hurricane Harvey, just last week there was just so much hate but now people are risking their lives to save others. It's amazing, this world needs more loveclick to expand
