Oooooh 6months, how sweet *heart eyes*

Well, I'll be honest. When's your birthday...never mind.

Leo's go all OUT regardless of time frame when dating. It could be one week or ten years, they empty offshore bank accounts to celebrate special occasions 😆

You know he likes scuba diving, but its only been a half year... I would do a balancing act here.

Personally, if it was meh, I'd book a boys day out on a charter with scuba diving as main feature of the package BUT keep it as a boys day 🙂 super cool

He'll feel like you know exactly who he is, and that you value his interests/friends as a separate part of who you are as a couple AND THEN I'd book a super chillaxed outdoor venue nearby where he can ditch his mates, scrub up and meet his princess for a one on one dinner just for the two of you 😎

Just ask him what he wants. He's s grown man not a little kid.
Maybe he's a grown man who likes surprises?🙂

So surprise him with what he likes. Instead of wasting money on what you like or guessing what he likes.

If you have to ask you don't know.

Sure. But as long as he knows she really tried and he can appreciate the effort, she should be fine, imo.

Asking is great, imo, but I'd rather take a chance when it comes to presents. If I get it wrong, no one's gonna kill me(hopefully😉) and I'll be closer to learning what kinds of gifts he likes for the future. But that's me.

He may be different, ofc, but the best gifts I ever got were things that I wouldn't even have thought to ask for. And then it's the surprise. At least my leo friends love those.🙂

I didn't say he should ask for it. But I'm pretty sure he knows his birthday is coming up. That's no surprise.

A surprise birthday party and dinner is understandable. But why not get someone what they want or like. At least get an idea of what they want.

It's not that serious and really doesn't take a lot of brainstorming. Just saying

Well, if she asks him to tell her what he wants, his response would be pretty close to asking for it. Think there are two groups of people - some prefer to get it right without the surprise, and some prefer the surprise...with the possibly gift fail or success. Depends on the birthday boy.

In my experience with leos, they would go with the latter, but this guy may not. Let's face it, your suggestion is indeed foolproof.

If you took a lot of care and thought into a gift, it is bound to show...which may make the other person happier about it. And making the other person happy, is pretty much the point of gift giving. Imo.

Ah cool! I've been in LTRs with leos as well(both august leos), although I've never been married to one. Agree that they are picky...which makes it more difficult, agreed. A looot of thought and research! I also agree that except for the extra pampering, they have tended to like practical things. And I agree it would have been a lot easier to just ask, but my exes have loved the surprise too, so...

Nvm. To each their own. You apparently succeeded pretty well with yours and I think I was successful with mine, so again, I think it's just about who's the birthday boy. Since the OP asked us, I got the impression that she may not want to ask him, but maybe she should? Idk.
