I just love Latin. πŸ˜›

Anyway, that's supposed to mean The Importance of Our Crown, Ladies.

That is-- our hair.

Call it shallow, if you must-- but I bet quite a few of you other signs are just as concerned with your own locks-- and that's just fine. πŸ˜‰

I'm considering cutting some of mine off (not too much!), because it's just TIME for a change.

Like dis--

So what is going on with yours?

Do you have curls? Is it long?

Straight?

Tell us-- all signs are invited, of course-- but please take care to tell us which one you are.

Thanks πŸ™‚

My hair must look nice at all times. It is the first thing someone sees about you. I spend good money on good products to keep it well maintained. I get complements from hair stylist with having long hair (half way down my back) and bleach in my hair. So I have long hair, half way down my back, long layers, and have the ombr? style . Blonde on the bottom and medium brown on top. But it is worked in where the blond and brown is weaved in on the bottom half. I go strait and sleek, full and volume, wavy or curly. Depends n my mood.

Me, too-- it makes a difference.

And for some reason, the better products seem to last longer-- idk why, but it's worth it.

I almost did the ombre thing-- it's so difficult to go back to regular dark blonde, after having bleach in your hair.

But atm, it looks like it may end up that way without my help-- the blonde starts showing through after a while.

It's a fabulous look, though-- and your hair is LONG-- bet it's lovely. πŸ™‚

Cappy, here. πŸ™‚

I like the bob as well. Mine's straightened and layered, the longest of which is down to the bottom of my shoulder blades. Debating on fringe, but it's such a pain to both maintain and grow out.

Yeah, I love the look-- I've done it before, but it's been awhile.

Your hair's pretty long, too-- when you say fringe, are you talking about bangs?

I've wanted to try that, but I'm chicken. πŸ˜„

It does make difference and it does last a lot longer.

I love the Ombr?, no up keep, only thing I have to do is touch my roots (damn grey hairs) and shape up.

Being tall, it fits well. But I love how I can go short or long.

I suppose I'm the rebel Leo?

I chopped the entire thing off after keeping it very long for a long time, and then dyed it red.

I've chopped it off again. I don't think I can go for the sophisticated persona the Scorp inspires with long hair. You just kinna of looks boring - like a 1890s housewife.. kinna.

*shrugs*

I have been that short and loved it. It was about 10 years ago and I went dark red and blonde. It was cute and fun hair style .

Long, with a bit of a curl.

I??ve had it down past my butt before, but I usually cut it before it gets to that point because it becomes a bit of a hassle.

Right now it's half way down my back.

I??ve never (voluntarily) had it cut above my shoulders.

When I was about 7 or 8, my mother took me to the salon and had them give me a bob.

I cried for a week.

I used to get really upset when anyone in my family got a haircut, too. So freaking weird. lol

Aww. Empathy, maybe?

I asked for a bob, once, when I was about 11-- expecting a short, cute, all one length cut.

The stylist asked if I wanted it layered-- I had no idea what that meant, but I nodded yes for some reason-- she made me look like a boy.

I was so upset-- still kind of pisses me off-- my hair had been really long. *shrugs*

Live and learn.

And I love 'long with a bit of curl' πŸ™‚

I can only really pull that off on the west coast.

No humidity.

I'm always rocking the wavy/volumized locks. Currently longer. I tend to have either copper or violet undertones.. depending on the season and glaze I decide to use.

After my days of platinum.. I vowed to never bleach again. πŸ™‚

Platinum-- I'm currently recovering (as you know, what was bleached won't hold color for long).

Your hair's pretty-- what does the "glaze" (not familiar) do?

Other than the obvious, I guess I'm wondering if it has color.

Glaze is deposit only. It can be used for shine or color and shine.

Here's a link with some explanation (I'm too lazy to code it): http://thebeautydepartment.com/2013/07/at-home-hair-glazing/

fellow meow meow here and my mane is soo beastly. it is down to my butt crack, and crab man seems to say this more often " everytime i grab your ass i grab your hair. its soo long"

my hair is naturally straight, but lately it has this natural body wave to it. its getting harder and harder to maintain. i cant do high pony tails because it hurts my head, so low braids and mid to high pony tails is the norm for me.

ive been wanting to cut my hair, but the thing with me is..i either go big or go home. and when i do choose to go drastic, i hate it!, even though i wanted it. cant seem to make my mind up. when i do the inbetween, its almost like i did nothing to it...sucks even more when i go into the triple digits with how much i have paid, and have been in the salon for well over two hours, just to have it look like i didnt do much of anything. which is a big reason why i dont frequent salons nowadays. but if i could, i would do this.

i think its very cute and chic. i love how it looks on her, but unsure how it would look on me. but i like it a lot though! i just always miss my long locks when i go too short. and yes i could get extensions, but too much maintenance . meh.

I love that. ??_

I have a friend with hair your length, and I pinned her hair under to give her an idea of what it would look like, like that ^-- it looked great.

Of course, she wouldn't DREAM of cutting it-- but it grows soo fast, it would be long again in no time.

I think your hair would look amazing like that-- and it would probably have a LOT more body to it, if it was shorter.

Based on your profile pic, I think you could pull it off, nicely.

Ditto! I'm definitely going to try this- thanks Huntress πŸ™‚ I have long very curly hair, and really can't do much with it style wise- it thoroughly defies any kind of styling and costs a small fortune to colour! But it seriously needs gloss/ shine...

Fantastic stuff πŸ™‚
