I would like to think otherwise but unfortunately from my experiences with them, yes, they definitely are. Every Leo I know takes a lot, and I mean A LOT of pictures of themselves. I know one in particular who will update her profile picture on facebook on a daily basis, she has one picture that has like 100 likes and she will change it every other day it seems to try to get more likes, compliments, praise, etc. She thinks she is just the hottest shit. When she noticed how popular my artwork was becoming on facebook she started drawing and she was pretty much just copying my style , and when she wasn't getting as much attention for it, she stopped doing it, and just resorted back to more selfies to quench her attention thirst. She couldn't stand seeing the spotlight on somebody else. For a sign that is supposed to be so creative and rules the heart, that seems like a very unoriginal and superficial thing to do. I'm not saying I don't like her overall as a person I just think she and most Leos I know in general do tend to be extremely self centered and attention seeking, whether they realize it or not. Oddly enough I get along with them for the most part though.

Well . . . at least she changes things up.

It's not so much attention I want as it would be admiration, and most of all I'd rather have respect.

I make art because I am passionate about it and always have been. She does it for attention, plain and simple. I don't care about having the spotlight, it just happens to come to me because I actually have talent, unlike (some, not all) leos who deliberately try to search for it. I'm sorry but it is true whether you would like to admit it or not. I can't "admire" a person that is that insecure, full of themselves, and fake.

... it's interpreted as "spotlight stealing", instead of admiration.

A chart's a big place.
Other items in a chart will exert a degree of influence on the Sun sign. A strong Saturn, for instance, might make him a little more reserved; certain planetary aspects like Mercury Conjunct Saturn, can also have a moderating effect, and so on.

Based on what I know, when Leos act like "copycats" its more because they admire the person/the person's talent.
I have been playing the piano since I was 3. I was able to play Fur Elise (the real version, not the simplified ones for kids) when I was 5... The other day my Leo ex was begging me to teach him how to play the piano and was asking questions regarding how long it will take for him to be good, how much I typically charge for a piano lesson, etc... He just thought it was cool that I play the piano and he wanted to be cool too... LOL
I'm sure he was not trying to steal the spotlight and he knew he can never be as good as I am
