Leo Woman/Scorpio Male relationship.

What is so toxic about this relationship? I am still not looking for a relationship yet and he is very understanding about my stance and take the view, lets just see where it goes as times goes on. When we do wee each other, we have such a great time together. If he has his friends over, I back off and let him be with his boys and don't question what they may have done/ Just like this weekend we was out until late.I didn't esquire what he did, it wasn't any of my business, Now this is my first "thing" outside of marriage and was not really sure how to take it or where to go.
I have never "seen" not dating a Scorpio. There was no lie when there is so natural strong connection. He was able to get my attention when most men can't. He is so cocky as I mentioned earlier. It almost turned me off totally. But then really getting to know him, he is a really nice person. He is very intelligent and hard working. Worked hard towards two degrees and served in the military. I have a lot of respect for him in this manner.We have a great conversations and debates that do not cross the line and intelligible.
However, he can really get me going with my passion and have no problem speaking my mind to him. I don't get pissed easily, but he addressed a misunderstanding yesterday with basically saying he would leave me alone. That really set me off and I addressed it right away. It ended up being a misunderstanding on his part and he called me immediately to talk about it. Which I really appreciate his honesty, 100% .I also appreciate his honesty and how he challenging me.
He does want to see me and often, even if it isn't as often as we would like and have so much fun together and laugh. There are thing that really annoy me and seems to not respect what I say and why which bothers me. He does seem to gain trust in me early as he has told me a couple of things he doesn't tell me and it has even surprised him. But it will remain secret with me as that is the type of person I am.
I guess my question, what is this attraction between Leos/Scorpios. What makes us work and what makes us not work. What should I look out for? I am leaning more and more to giving him a chance, He does bring the craziness out of me admittedly, which is not easy to do but admits he likes it. Any other information I should know about?

I'm a Scorpio woman. I dated Leo men not by choice. So far, the fastest I trusted has been a Leo. I like their straightforwardness. I like their practical mind, sincere honesty, their willingness to help, what-you-see-is-what-you-get and most importantly their shining intelligence with a touch of humour. They can definitely out debate me in religion and politics. They have a knack for monetary values. Even if they dress plainly, they project (the ladies) a simple elegant style . Cooking was mentioned earlier on these boards, so yeah... I know from the leo man his interest to cooking.
Two Leos from earlier dating... Omg.. make it 3, brought out my romantic side, that made me write poems. One way or another our relationship turned out to be short because they disappointed me.
I didn't choose the Leo. He chose me. We usually started with solid friendship first. Then I admired them challenging me on an intellectual level. So all of the above just complements me about Leo.

Sexually, I'd say, I like his inhibited ways. He doesn't analyze me like a Virgo because as heated I can get, I am also shy. So the straightforwardness continues in between sheets, which I like. Cut the chase, get to the point. If play is involved, I like his immediate willingness. When I see the twinkle in his eyes and that almost childish smile, it's a turn on for me. It's like a mix of power and surrender.
What doesn't work for me is when he starts describing how he wants the sex. And apparently, two leos having sex is more on a verbal level. The Scorpio has to feel you. When too much planning is involved, then the course of love making can naturally shift, or if you keep following instructions, then it takes away the fun of spontaneity.
As to my own experiences, I generally didn't have a sexual pull to a Leo at first sight. He won me over with his mind first. Then he brought out the romantic in me... And then I loved him.

Gosh.. we bud heads with Leo too, at times. As organized as he is, sometimes it feels like he has set ideas that you cannot out-talk. However, when I get my arm our down and listen, he comes up with the latest ideas. I think the best time to step in is when he continues creating those ideas or you won't even get the chance to start. I have to channel his focus sometimes.

My Scorpio ex-husband is lovely and was a wonderful partner. I was the one who ended things. Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe his Leo Moon balanced things out, but..?
I think so much depends on their parents role modeling healthy relationships, and whether or not the can dominate in some other aspect of their lives- a sport, or work, etc.

I told him I was just out of a 14 year marriage, but that didn't mean shit...I was not like the rest of these vulnerable women who think they need a man in their life and I was just as happy by myself and needed the me time.. Scorpio is still trying to pull me in. I keep pushing away, I don't think he has me sold yet. FUM, I think he is finding it easy for him to trust me, but I am having trouble with trust in him. I have trust issues period. I am just very guarded person which I am working on.

I don't see anything toxic in Leo-Scorpio relationships. It's just that the king meets the prince of the underworld. They'll make great friends, even greater mentor-protege relationships, but they must fight to keep a romance going.
Either they battle each other to find harmony or battle the world around them to stay together. Frankly, sometimes it gets tiring when EVERY SINGLE FUCKING PERSON thinks they know exactly who is right for one or the other.

My trust issues are just in general. I have been burnt so easily and hurt to many times. I did open up to him one time about something serious I think, then I just changed it became fun and joking again. He does keep talking about the vibes I give off and they are good ones. So who knows. I do enjoy the shit out of his even if he annoys the shit out me. LOL But if I feel he needs his space, I give it to him and let him come to me. My just drop a text and let him know I am thinking about him and hope everything is OK. I am usually so good with mood swings, but damn, he is the only person in a long time that can bring them out of me, I am usually told I am such an even person, maybe because I feed off him, I am not sure, but he claims he likes my bluntness, could he be lying or telling the truth. You talk about Leo bluntness, but I only get very blunt with him after I have clearly set a boundary with him and he keeps trying to cross it. What am I suppose to do about that??? He already tried very very very hard to get me in bed. Couldn't keep his hands off. I had told him before he tried, straight up I had him already I just had to say yes, but we weren't there yet. I ended up having to be very forceful saying NO not yet. So does that mean he finds me adorable or into me? I don't know about this dating game. Most men will just want to hit and go and do what they can until they get it. I pushed back forcefully no and he is still around. He keeps saying, lets just see where this leads, but he usually gets a vibe from the start if a person will be around for a long time. I am taking he has that vibe from me. He says he really wants to see me again very very soon, but there are things standing in the way now. With my Aunt gone, i can't just leave the kids and he was in an accident. I just don't have time for games and maybe that is why I am so hard on him. He is texting me all day long though, but so will a guy who just wants to get in your pants.

I don't think Scorpios fall in love easily. We keep that heart cold for as long as it can.
I wanted to use my word carefully when I wrote 'adorable'. There certainly is an interest he has in you. I would give it more time to know each other, because SEX can make things complicated. I think for women more, there can be a hightened feeling of emotions and we can lose part of our objectivity. What happens with me is (in general if I truly am into a man), I want to see continued courtship.
Unless you just want to break that spell... the sexual pressure, go for it!
If it is just sex you want, have it! As it seems the Scorpio is a good candidate. He brings out your wild side. And who knows... it may continue that way. Again, YOU have to be ready. Do you know his side of the story?
