i think this has everything to do with his age and not his zodiac sign. you say he is in his early 20's? some men don't tend to settle down until all of his friends are. chances are he is still leaving his options open because he doesn't have the desire to.
but i am only going by the info you give me. i dont know him personally, you do. what exactly are you looking for with this hairy one? a commitment? marriage? fun?

he told you from the get-go he wasnt looking for anything. so its not like he is lying to you. you may just be hoping for something that he isn't willing to give.
you also had intercourse with him on the third date...correct? so why would he keep up with appearances when he already got what he wanted from you. im not trying to put him in a bad light...or say that he is a dick. he has a dick. im just saying that there may be truth to that phrase "why buy the cow, if you get the milk for free"
why give him the benefits of a relationship when he already told you he didnt want to commit?click to expand

I'm 4 years older than him (I'm later 20s and he's younger 20s, definitely over 21 though!). He is a typical Leo to a tee himself: runs hot and cold, *extremely* guarded with his emotions and logic of relationships, in an extreme 'me' phase, and likes to be the dictator with his romantic interests. Might I dare say he is somewhat of a semi-immature Leo? As a Libra I've been playing my cards tactfully with this cat, so far it's been good with charming the pants off him and putting the spotlight on him to pet his ego whenever I can. Which is strange, because for as much effort as I've been doing this (and how Leos are notorious being all about 'me' instead of 'we'), I've found a balance between accepting this fact and measuring out activities we can do together as one.
What is the purpose of Leo putting you through trials and tests so much? I can definitely see where hot and cold falls in, but is there even a strategy behind it all? We started out with a full blown infatuation (we did get intimate by our 3rd date) as if we were going to become the next hot item amongst our friends, however after the 3rd date he's left matters completely platonic (no intimacy, no affection, can't even get a single kiss from him!) While he did give me reasonings of avoiding commitment from the start, I don't understand how he was extremely affectionate and romantic toward me in the beginning physically, and now has almost left me cold turkey with it (only dropping subtle signs of intimacy, but aside from that we still find great joy in each other's company even if its platonic).
Is this a sign of Leo trying to slow things down? Am I at risk of getting my hopes up? Libras are good at stroking a Leo's ego, but at the same time don't want to be taken advantage of just because of a larger than life ego!
