leos and emotions

people think we are not that deep but i would say we are deep lovers, they dont call us the lovers of the zodiac for nothing but i can see why people think that.
So fellow leos how do you handle emotions? good and bad, do you make them known? would you rather just ignore the topic completely?

why do we care what people think? leos are the best sign in my personal opinion and nothing anyone may say can ever change my opinion. Leos have great depth emotional and intellectual but people only see a side of us because they are biased by all the astro articles slandering our sign as being nothing but a big ball of ego. Astrology is dominated by air/water signs and so these signs will get all the positive spotlight and since aquarius rules astrology itself it's no wonder we get a bad rap.

Very true, most articles only touch on the superficial areas of a Leo's personality. Most articles say that we are all concerned with our egos and pride (or rather sensitivity). We apparently lack devotion to the opposite sex and yet super jealous. We crave the center of attention / we are party animals / and are overly dramatic. I'm sorry, this person sounds exhausting.

Granted, yes immature Leos can have those traits, but so can other zodiac signs. Further more whatever happened to our intense loyalty, courage, warmth, and passion? What happened to the fact that we can be great leaders who have the potential to become extremely wise. What about our great sense of humor and ability to create something out of nothing? What about the fact that we can actually get along with everyone (granted on varying degrees), but are willing to put ourselves out there?

I get the sense people like to hate Leos because we are capable of great feats (good or bad). We can cheer everyone up, while also being able to bring the mood down. Likewise we don't try to be the center of attention, it's just how our lives work. We tend to throw out a lot of fun and positive vibes, so naturally people want to be around us. Yes, we may indulge in our egos a bit as a result, but we also generally have a grasp of who we are as individuals. The world can be a confusing place and Leos can be a rock in tumultuous times. We can pave roads and move mountains. We can also be extremely patient and unselfish, which means we can spend more energy on others than even on ourselves for the greater good.

Furthermore, we love HARD. Yes so can other signs, but when we love a person (heck even when we like them), it's very simple to see. We also tend to pour a lot of ourselves into our loved ones as a result (our court apparently...)

So when I hear how BAD I am, I typically do ignore that person. I personally feel I have far too much going on to listen to those who misjudge me. If someone chooses to see me differently than what I actually am, they don't deserve my warmth. Regardless of whether they see it or not, those who hate on good Leos deserve the cold. I personally have too many people around me who appreciate me fully to care about those who don't.

I have venus in Leo. I remember every single things me & my ex have done together. Our friendship is 1 year, relationship 6 months then a painful break up. Since the day of break up, 12 years have passed and I still dream of him few times every year. Even now, every time if I allow myself to flash back, the memories still suffocate me badly, I can feel the pressure on my heart that makes me have difficulty in breathing normally so yeah, I try my best not to flash back. I think my love were intense but I dare not show it much, I think could scare people away. I have saturn blocking my emotions, this could also explain why I hesitate to show my emotions though I love deeply. However, once in a while, my emotions can burst open. I am still trying to figure this part of me.

Haha! I think Leos especially the men are most misunderstood. I find that when you go there first or bravely open up yourself to them ....subtly it cracks the shell. I mean they have this shield or wall up but given the right conversation, boom! At times it's a shock, you know, the facade they put up. When they open up usually mean they trust you. It's tricky with a cat but if your personality is as strong as them, it works. Leos need to respect you in order to be on a emotional level. You have to reflect a royal aura to achieve that.

Lol, how come people say we are not deep lovers?! I am not able to Unlove a person once I have loved. Isn't it enough for the definition of deep love?! Relationship is not only about emotions. It's about fighting for the relationship too during bad times. And Leos, they don't back off.

this is true.... my leo doesnt let us break up... not sure if thats good though... could leos be in denial?
