I don't think I know any cheap Leos. Frugal, sometimes, but the focus in on quality so they have nice things even if their budget is tight. Also, a lot of Leos I know have practical and creative skills that help them create what they want sometimes. Carpentry skills, for example.

That being said, Leos do think we can do lot ourselves, but are completely fine letting other people do things for us as well.

Posted by Gob_ShiteMeh, I dunno. I bought a Coach purse that my mom freaked out over me spending the money for but that was almost 20 years ago and I still use it (it will soon need replacing because the strap is finally breaking). I have other cheaper purses but don't use them at all. I wouldn't say it's not the best quality that I could afford.
I think Leos, along with Virgos, are big spenders.
As others have already mentioned, Leos love to buy the best quality... even though, in most cases, the 'best quality' is nothing but an illusion based on bullshit marketing. Yeah, Leos are complete suckers for that kind of thing...

Posted by lisabethur8Spot on. Frugal not cheap.
um, if they have Cancer venus, Virgo venus, and Taurus moon........
they WILL be cheap. lol
not kidding here.....experiencing this truly.
well, they are just very careful with their monies, counting every penny.... very FRUGAL.
but if they splurge, they will do so because they already calculated enough money before hand. lol
edit
ok, wait...the word CHEAP is bad...and not really terribly good to use.
but FRUGALITY is really in their DNA if they have these placements. And other frugal peeps will APPRECIATE this...
oh I forget...if they have Capricorn in their chart. it's a sure bet they will be FRUGAL too... so earth/water...

Hmm... yeah, among the personal planets, Venus can be
two signs away, and Mars can be anywhere.
But Mercury can't be further than 30° away from the Sun.
That was my understanding--
The Mountain Astrologer says this:
Mercury is never more than 28° from the Sun,
and Venus never more than 48° .
Then again, it could all be bunk... but those are the 'rules.'

and experience have taught me that.
Esp for things that are used daily or close to it,
like shoes, handbags, winter or weather gear
etc... and I use them until I can't.
You end up spending more having to replace
cheap things that fall apart.
Even makeup... the good stuff works better (no
comparison) and lasts much longer than the
drugstore variety.
If it didn't (and I have tried it more than once), it
wouldn't make sense to spend the extra money.
I hear you but I think Leos (especially the younger ones) rarely bother compromising unless they have to. While other signs are more selective, when to comes to this mindset, I find Leos apply this belief across the board.
Also, just because something is more expensive or prestigious, doesn't necessarily mean it's better (quality-wise) than the cheaper alternatives. Sometimes, trial and error is required, but I don't think many Leos have the patience for that (or are too fixed to step outside their mindframe).click to expand

When I was 30 I wanted to go on a cruise but didn't want a tiny stateroom. I booked a penthouse suite year early, found another Leo coworker to go with me, and we paid $ 600 a month until the cruise date. I wouldn't have had it any other way, and I had the money to do it. It was an awesome room and a great cruise. Go big or go home.

most people wouldn't spend more than a 150 dollars a night even ...unless they really are rich.
rich people just spend a lot of money because they can.
