Physical traits

Many astrologers believe that each sign of the zodiac has its own identifying physical traits. Some think of Leos as being usually averaged height tall yet some short, with high cheek bones, full lips, trim athletic legs, strong physical features, well-defined appendages (hands, feet, etc.), and large, deep eyes. Leos also tend to have very soft skin and thick hair that shines in the sun. It is said they tend to keep their heads held high and look down their noses at others.
This is what they believe, is it describing you leos?
No, not me...I don't have high cheek bones...I do have semi full lips, I don't have athletic legs (probably because I don't work out)and I do have pretty feet...I don't have deep eyes either. My skin is soft (i guess) and my hair is thin...Oh, and I NEVER look down at others...So, I guess in my case it's not true.

I'm average height, slim but not athletic, tiny chested. Cheek bones are normal and lips are normal. Eyes are not overly big. Do however have very thick, shiny curls. Skin isn't overly fantastic. I do have pretty hands and feet though (it's a regular compliment).
Other than that I'm just a typical girl.

I think for Leo's it's more in the way they carry themselves....to be completely honest thinking about it now...I've never met a TRULY physically beautiful Leo. But every one of them oozed with sex appeal. I'd say they're hot in a more "full package" kind of way.
There are some truly beautiful leos - Halle Berry, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Whitney Houston, but I do agree with you, it's about the total package. I do feel like people often think that we're attention whores though.. Might be true. 
I don't like to get attention, I just get it. It's not like I go out of my way to get it. When we go to a party for instance I just like talking to everyone and putting a smile on everyone's face. Even if I have to make myself the brunt of the joke to do it. I like being surrounded by happy people and so will go out of my way to make them happy. I guess some would see this as attention seeking - it's not. Sometimes I'm quiet and not the centre of attraction but I don't sulk or crave it.
Sadly it is the curse of Leos do be misunderstood by people because of the authoritative tone and the bossy approach that we carry.
Sadly this is so true. I think Leo's are horribly misunderstood.
I have a cousin...she has serious issues with her mother. I care about her and so when she repeats things her mom has said and done I get a little passionate in my responses. It's not that I'm telling her what to do per se it's just that because I feel so strongly about the injustice she's been done, I get a little angry and excited when giving her my advice.
She will then throw back into my face that I'm always telling her what to do and how to live her life.
Once I've cooled down it's really up to her, use it don't use it, I wouldn't be insulted if chose not to use my advice but to her it appears as if I'm telling her what to do.
Many arguments over this because I in turn then feel that she's ungrateful to the fact that I care about her so much. She stayed with me for a while and I noticed that most of the clothes in her cupboard are threadbare and over-washed. I felt sorry for her (she's not in a great financial position) so I went out and bought her a few new items to wear. She threw in my face that I was buying them for her in order to make her feel indebted to me and by doing so bow to my demands.
God she drove me nuts! She eventually moved out and we don't speak at all. I still care about her and hear about her via the grapevine but there truly is nothing worse than having your genuine care and good intentions thrown back at you....for me anyway and I'm very Leo.

yeah, i'm definitely not perfect. i would have to go with the package deal thing. i could stand to lose another 10-15 lbs. (melikes good food too much; hate exercise but i walk a LOT) but i'm very proportionate and i wear clothes that flatter my figure. my legs are a little on the thicker side but strong (but look great when i wear heels). i have had many compliments on my lips and my eyes are rather large. my skin isn't too great yet somehow i can pull it off without anyone really noticing. au natural (no make-up) here! i do look up and will look u straight in the eye but never down on anyone. it's just because i am confident and comfortable with myself. there's always room for improvement but i don't necessarily have bad body image like a lot of other women do. though i did notice the other day that my ass is a little bigger than what i'd like it to be...
i have long dark curly hair,soft skin,cupid bow lips and deep cat like eyes,my legs are trim and have often been complimented,i hold my head high
