Please Help With Leo Man

Hi,
I'm an Aries female who met a late 40s Leo man a few months ago at a social event. In recent weeks, we have emailed, talked on the phone, texted and have gone out together. He constantly puts in his emails or texts that he hopes to see me soon; yet he is always busy. It has been 2 weeks since we last went out. However, we still email and text. In fact, most of his emails are longer than me, and he responds fairly quickly to my emails.
Like a typical Leo, he is extremely social and popular with the ladies. At the last social event we were at, the woman were very flirty and physical with him, rubbing his back, etc. He was having fun, so I stayed away from him for the day and had my own fun talking, laughing and dancing with others. Later on, he apologized for ignoring me.
I know his ex wants him back who is also at the social events. Do Leo men return to their exes who broke up with them? Is it really typical for Leo men to be dating multiple woman in the beginning?
Thanks for your help!
We have gone out, kissed and cuddles. How are you so sure he is not dating me?
Leos have options. Many , many options.
I am getting this on a T-shirt.
J is correct. You are not dating him but it doesn't mean you can't have fun and just enjoy the ride. In fact, that is right up our alley. Don't over think it and please don't go asking him ...where this is going and what he thinks of you.
Thanks for the answers. No, he has never used the word dating, but I also mean the word casually, such as dating is when you're getting to a person(s) and going out.
No, I have never asked him what he thinks of me or if we're dating. To clarify something I wrote earlier, at the social gathering, he came up to me a few other times before he apologized. I did my own thing and spent time with other people. I don't need or want a clingy man. I also like a challenge.
Thanks again.
Oooopps mean getting to know a person(s). Sorry for all my errors, but having eye issues this week.
Unless he asks you specifically to be his girlfriend, exclusively, you should not expect that he is your boyfriend or exclusive.
I never wrote anything about being his gf or being exclusive.
In fact, the two questions I asked were never commented on... Do Leo men return to their exes who broke up with them? Is it really typical for Leo men to be dating multiple woman in the beginning?

I think it depends on the reason for the break up. If the Leo man cheated and was then dumped sure why not take her back. The real question is would she take him back.
Yes, Leo men can date multiple women....typical behavior is best judged by the Moon and Venus sign I would think. Again, Leo men and women have more options than any other sign in my opinion. We are ruled by the Sun and people are attracted to us for various reasons. We are fun, and usually well groomed and not cheap and very very forgiving. In the "beginning" there really aren't any rules are there? Is there a dating etiquette book somewhere?
I think you are looking for us to tell you that he likes you and wants to be in a relationship with you. He might but then again he might not.
Thanks, Nala13. From his side, he didn't cheat on her. I was asking about going back to the exes and dating multiple people because I wasn't sure if those are typical Leo tendencies. I know there's no way you can tell if he likes me. I know he likes me because he's said it. But I don't know to what extent.
Yes, you're right about the Leo options, as I've read about that. You made a good point earlier to just have fun.
