The August 1, 2008 Eclipse & Leos
I should add that people with Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or Descendant in Aquarius are going to be strongly impacted by this, too. The other two fixed signs will notice some changes because they are square to the energy (Taurus and Scorpio).
The last time we had this set of Leo/Aquarius eclipses was 1998-2000. Whatever occurs for you will be similar to that.

To start things off....
This total solar eclipse in Leo will occur EXACTLY on my Leo Ascendant and therefore also exactly on my Descendant -- my 7th house of marriage, partnerships, open enemies and business partners.
I am trying to stay calm as it could bring unwarranted nasty personal attacks online, face-to-face attacks, relationship endings, or business problems. At the same time it might bring very good changes/new starts in my relationship with my boyfriend, a marriage proposal, and/or some sort of new business partnership.
My plan is to work alone on a project on August 1 and then mostly spend the weekend alone, reading and relaxing. I am going to a party I was invited to on Saturday evening and I have tentatively planned a group gathering on Sunday morning. I will mingle and blend into the crowd.

I can say this has happened already. The Directer her resigned and we have another on in the intrium. This new director is reorganizing the Cancer Center jobs and all. Well I had a meeting with him and he put a stop to some of my duties, and told me that I will be doing something new. I also asked for a raised and he said ok.
I am more concerned with my Gem man and how it may effect him.

AS I posted in teh first poste of this thread.....it would be good to hear what I shappening for those with strong Leo placements under this eclipse.
My contribution: I have a Leo Ascendant and what occurred for me under this eclipse is that my guy gave me the keys to his home to move in next week.
We had talked about it, and talk around it being August but it was a surprise (and good one at that) that he decided to give me the key yesterday, right on the elcipse. An ending to an old way of things in that area of life and a new beginning in it!
In fact, I was rather anxious about the eclipse because it is one which will likely bring many endings to relationships for people with significant Leo placements. I also can look back to the 1998-2000 and 1988-1990 Leo/Aquarius eclipses and recall that romantic relatonships or boys I had a crush on were blown out of my life at that time.
On the other hand, this for me is a new beginning and not only is this eclipse about endings, it is about the flip side of that coin which is the new beginning you get when something ends.
I am an intuitive and a professional astrologer and have been getting contacted by many people with such placements and they are in tears and worse over breakups, divorces, fights etc. It is VERY precarious to try to tell a proud Leo person that somoene really does not longer want them. It is rather devastating for these Leo/Leo-type people as the ego is being affected. But on the plus side there is something for Leo Sun/Moon/Asc people to learn about themselves being the best they can be if they do not spend a lot of energy fighting the ending.....then they get a new beginning!
The other thing I am hearing from clients with strong Leo placements is people criticizing them and attacking themor being rude to them in some way (ignoring, excluding, trying ot sabotage them etc) because of their gifts/skills etc.

i also live by a river ,and i love sitting running or walking by it,i have started walking to work and back,and i walk through university grounds which has a lake and it is a beautiful estate,i also have to walk by a canal,i live in a city ,but only have to walk 10 mins to be surrounded by woods ,river, park ,canals

Thank you for posting that RFL, I have been feeling different lately as well. Not to be dramatic, but it's like a veil has been lifted and I suddenly have the will and determination to put some long overdue changes in motion. I have been taking baby steps over the past two months, but it seems like the inner strength that I have been lacking for quite a few years suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
It's strange, I haven't felt this optimistic, peaceful, and confident in a very long time. I suddenly notice life again, both the good and bad, where before it was mostly a shade of gray. No more worrying about what will happen tomorrow, I'm trying to make the most of today. That's a huge improvement for a worry wart like me.
And old friends have been crawling out of the woodwork, I've had at least five friends that I hadn't heard from in a long time contact me in the past few weeks.

It's strange, I haven't felt this optimistic, peaceful, and confident in a very long time. I suddenly notice life again, both the good and bad, where before it was mostly a shade of gray. Ok so my Leo placements are as follows: Sun 4.44 deg; Moon 12.28 deg; Mercury 17.36 deg; Venus 15.38 deg, Saturn 6.19 deg and I have Leo in my 7th House. I know Aquarius is also affected so my ascending is Aquarius 13.22 deg. Virgo Beloved please explain what effect the eclipse might've had and in what arrears of my life??

Okies....updating....teh efect of the eclipse on Leo placements. Well on the eclipse my Mr. Aquarius gave me the keys to his place to move in....and I did so on August 4.
So far it is good and mellow. We are both our independent selves and I am relaxing more than I have in a very long time. I am sleeping more, eating well and surprisingly not feeling like my style is being cramped. LOL, I have even folded his clothes and done some straightening, although I am not a person who likes to generally clean after others. Well, actually, he is quite clean......everything i vacuumed and there is no dust, he showers and bruchases his teeth 2-3 times a day. He has even made me dinner and is traeting me bit like a queen, doing things for me. He will be home for dinner tonight so I will cook since he has this week already.
I am quite a happy one....

LOL, I have even folded his clothes and done some straightening, although I am not a person who likes to generally clean after others. Well, actually, he is quite clean......everything i vacuumed and there is no dust, he showers and bruchases his teeth 2-3 times a day. He has even made me dinner and is traeting me bit like a queen, doing things for me. He will be home for dinner tonight so I will cook since he has this week already.

Virgo is actually a very spiritual sign, becuase of its polarity with Pisces. It siomply gets expressed differently.
The eclipse in Leo is having us all deal with our HEART and not our head. Leo also rules the heart.

it's quite interesting to hear about this eclipse that has been affecting all leos. i had no idea about it, but now that i do, it sure does explain a lot! i am a leo sun, rising, and venus.. i believe there could be more leo in my chart, but i don't recall at the moment. i've been ultra emotional, and there are many aspects of my life that have been thrown into a frenzy ever since the end of july. unfortunately, the main aspects i'm speaking of surround my love life and relationships. i'm incredibly amazed at the changes that have come about during this time. hope everyone is safe and is bearing through this rough / strange patch!

Yes, scorpqueen, your sister would be affected if she has a Leo Asc and Moon in Aquarius. The eclpses are hitting her like bricks. SHe is definitely undergoing transformation in some form. You can probably notice it.
