The Leo Smirk

I've known several Leos both male and female throughout my life and I've noticed one thing about them all...the smirk.

It's cool because I have it myself(guess it spreads to the Leo mooners too lol) and even noticed it in my childhood pictures even when I was three.

It pops up during random moments of discovery. "Like yeah...you thought you could sneak that by me" or "Hmph I'll show him/her who's boss." Lol.

Leos, do you notice it with each other or if you're even doing it?

Oh yes, I am famous for my smirk. I get in Ah ha moments, as I evaluate someone and I am starting to figure them out, when I win a battle or get my way, when my kids do something great (The proud Lioness), when I figure something out at work that was really getting at me. Oh, so many reasons to smirk. 🙂

I started to do summer school but after a year of law school, I was like hell naw! I need a rest! What are you taking up?

So you're going to be a 2L?! *high five* I'm doing counseling psych, looking to take the next scheduled licensing exam in the fall. right now i'm counseling in an urban school district. ppl say i'm too weak/soft for this, but i think i'm making out alright so far. I took the LSAT years ago, you know. But I never followed through bc my score wasn't high enough to get into a tier 1 school. i would have wanted to work in a mental health court at some point. i have a passion for working with the mentally ill population as well as the elderly/dying. i'm sure i'll always be in this field in some capacity.

Yup, 2L coming up in the fall and it going to be really intense. The LSAT was really difficult and I studied on my own and took it once. I hear you on a tier 1 school but my aunt told me(she's an attorney) that its about the person and not the school. Sure the well known school can open door but I've heard of those big league types getting their asses handed to them by small school attorneys. Practicing law is like anything else, you have to have heart and passion especially being a trial lawyer.

Don't be discourage because of the path you've chosen. Working with the mentally ill is a great thing. So few have the love and compassion that's needed to care for them. I think its beautiful that you're going for it. I'll be rooting for you _??
