I have them really bad. I am thinking about going to therapy. Has therapy helped any of you? To be honest I am a little concerned about the stigma that is attached to it.

Agree with CuteGem.
I've never really understood why there's a stigma-- takes more courage to be honest and work through issues, than it does to suffer silently.

Perhaps, it's cultural. I'm not sure but I just bought a self help book on trusting people. I am going to start there.
Nala try not to worry about the stigma associated with your issues, no one can really justify their negativity towards you when you're doing something to overcome your issues.
It takes courage to admit your flaw and actually do something about it. Therapy is a good start.
Nala, therapy can be very helpful, but you need to choose your therapist wisely and carefully.
This means asking as many people as you know have a therapist for suggestions.
Personally, I have found cognitive therapy to be the most beneficial.
I think one could help you with realizing your issues behind not trusting people and what you can do to have a realistic view of people. I've seen therapist and counsellors and truth is talking to someone can help steer you away from constantly thinking negative thoughts about this issue in your life that prohibits you from moving forward ^.^
And I agree with @montgomery it takes a lot more effort to confront and fix your problems then to suffer
