Am I mad—

Well here I am again, I seem to be drawn to Librans somehow!!! Am I mad for giving it another go?

I met another Libran (not by choice coz I really should run after the last Libra) when out the other night with friends, and he has not stopped texting me and this morning he has invited me out for next Friday for dinner and OMG he's paying? the other libra was too cheap to even buy a bottle of wine (he whinged and whined about that but then again, thinking back, he was a real cheapskate)....this one is booking a table in "advance" at my favourite little place in town this coming Friday...OMG he thinks in advance, he books in advance and he wants to go to where I am more comfortable....WTF— Oh and he's not at all a fussy eater and seems to enjoy most cuisines (awesome!!!!)

I am so used to not going out on real dates over the past 18 months Im as nervous as hell....yes Ive been having fun and having quite a few dates since splitting from Libra 5 months ago but this one actually wants to make a great impression....there is hope afterall. I thought men had lost the art of dating in the real sense.

And yes I still think of the Libra ALL of the time but he has made his choice to not even be friends (he mustnt be a real libra afterall as apparently they dont like to lose friends....his choice and only his choice but apparently we cannot be friends after being intimate - WTF—)....anyway, we shall see what happens now....this is what I need after seeing a Cappy (who is lovely but just not "the one"), some excitement!!!

Thats the important part. It has only complicated the matters for me after i got to know things in detail. But then its my libra brain processing it trying to be fair. Could be a bit different when a leo brain process it in that playful mood.

Thank you, I think he will be fun and I've finally let go of Libra #1....I will always remember him and perhaps our paths will cross again some day but I have let go...FINALLY!!!

Im not ready to get serious anyway - enjoying life too much lately but its nice to be treated the complete opposite (in a good way) as I have been used to over the past 18 months....what was I thinking? clearly I wasnt....love is blind but I have learnt to never again give my heart to anybody until he has clearly given me his first. Im wary but not cold, Im bruised but Im also healed (if any of this makes sense)....I had to go through what I have to be reminded that life truly is way too short to settle for 2nd best...thank God Libra #1 was kind enough to show me the way things could have been and how unhappy I would have been had we done it MY way. His way was the best scenario and although I will miss him, Im happy he let me go even though it sucked at the time LOL

Up and on and OMG life is good again. Oh and its started to rain here - the drought (and I mean we are in a severe drought here) has broken!!!!!! *dances in the rain*

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The date was amazing.....he was a true gentleman, wouldnt let me pay for a thing!!!! OMG now I know what a REAL emotionally undamaged Libra can be like - whoah!!! He even text me when I was driving home to thank me WTF— I should be thanking him!!!! He text me this morning just to say "good morning"....OMG!!!!!!!!

He must have spent $ 200 on dinner and drinks last night (he LOVED the place I chose) - I dont think Libra 1 spent that much in the entire year we were hanging out!!! Oh and he now wants to take me to the Oyster Bar this coming Friday night - we have food and wine in common, so much in common.

Oh well you see that's the thing....Im just enjoying the ride and I wasn't looking for anybody at all...that's the beauty of this because my heart won't be broken this time...Im all the wiser because of the last guy and I've learnt many harsh lessons. Im so not ready to have my heart stomped on yet again and just enjoying this for whatever it is and certainly not going to go getting all smitten but I do have to say Im truly enjoying the different pace and what this guy has to offer compared to the last.

No dramas from this end THATS a certainty 🙂 I wont worry if he doesnt call or text or write or anything....he's doing all the work and Im sitting back doing not much at all except being nice because that's the way he wants it and that's the way it should be....month 2? well we shall see 🙂

This is how we are. He probably will never pull a disappearing act. Not more than a day or two and you will probably know what he is busy with. We generally don't pull disappearing acts. It is just rude. Unless we are in emotional ruin and need to breath and that is a whole other thing.

He wants to make you happy so he is happy to go along with what you want. Enjoy. Why feel bad? After everything you have been through don't you deserve it?

Don't play hot and cold with him. Had you done that with the other Libra you would have ended up in even worse shape. Playing with someone's head when they are emotionally unstable doesn't make a stable relationship. It makes even MORE drama and is a recipe for bad karma. You know that. 😛

Old libra wasn't ready and wasn't emotionally available. Nothing you could or can do to change what was wrong with him.

hurt-heart, a Cappy? hmmmmm well they can be very Sexy that's for sure and full-on...be prepared for that...once they have their sites set on you?? OMG!! Atom, I am amazingly happy!!!! Still having so much fun dating...who would have thought?

I received a promotion earlier this week and have been celebrating - finally my efforts have been rewarded and along with the promotion I will be doing a great deal of travel and not to mention a nice pay increase. I've also started studying at nights (doing a Management course) so Im keeping really reallyl busy.

OMG this is an oldie!!

eagwstinggirl, the Libra was really nice, we got along so very well but we decided to keep it as friends only (and that we still are) and Im glad I made that choice as I have dated a few other Librans since and it seems they are of the same mould as my first Libra, whom I still love very much (for what reason you ask? I ask myself that everyday LOL).

Ive found that they are very fickle, incredibly unbalanced most of the time, although they do like to project that they have it all together (they rarely do LOL). They are so much fun to be around, very communicative, interesting, intelligent and can be the life of the party for a while but being a fire sign, I also find them incredibly boring and they spend copious amounts of hours/days and even weeks just sitting around doing NOTHING but mope and sleep and be, well boring and then there's that indecisiveness - OMG!!!! I cant live like that and well these days I know exactly what I will and won't take and I think Im over LIbrans as a romantic interest.

To answer your question though, Nah, I dont think it'd have worked out, nor with any of the other Librans I dated after that. I do think that LIbra 1 and I had a really good chance but he's imprisoned himself in a cell filled with regrets from previous days gone by, has become a recluse and still believes the online world is better than living in the real one.

They all return, they all seek you out again when they miss you enough (I should now know, coz I have 4 of them doing this regularly...they are like clockwork!!).

I love them all dearly, they make amazing friends and will do anything for you and memories? OMG they have a good memory (which is very sexy LOL) but I'd not go back down Libra land again (unless Libra 1 did a complete turnaround and somehow I doubt that'll ever happen).

My advice? dont get caught up in the flirtations - they are just that, flirtations. Unless he speaks his mind and has your full attention? dont take anything serious...a pinch of salt is always good. They know EXACTLY what to say to get your attention but as soon as they have yours, you lose theirs.....UNLESS you are what they are looking for but having said that? They dont even know what they're looking for.
