If you're dating a guy that is younger than you and he refers to you as a cougar....would you be insulted? Why/why not?

call him your little boy toy...if that doesnt bother him, cougar shouldn't bother you

Nope. It's my mission in life to be the best little cougar on all the East Coast. I'll be 32 in March but wth I still consider myself a cougar. I'm starting young.

Great attitude!
I'm 52 and my guy is 41, although people mistake me for being 35-45. I'm his "cougar kitty" and he's my "cub". He loves it that I'm older and says he's always been attracted to older women. We're going strong for 6 months now and looking to a solid future together. Love my Libra cubbie!!

I like the cute, sexy spin you put on it. Winking I was taking it in a negative tone because of the stereotype of cougar women, you know, hounding after really young guys, jumping from one to the other, pretty much a sugar momma. I've never really looked at the age difference as a problem....until he said the word cougar, which took me by surprise. I have never considered myself being labeled as such LOL.
MissLibra, I'm glad you understood the context of my response. Age is definitely NOT an issue with us! In my opinion, a COUGAR is a woman who chases after younger men...he came after me, not the other way around. I was very cool and laid back, and boy did he pursue! I know six months may still be considered the honeymoon period, but we understand each other like nothing else! We are honest with each other and have a mutual respect for each other. As a Virgo, I tend to be nitpicky and critical...at least I did in my younger years. After a failed marriage to a Libra, I saw where I was wrong and have corrected those things. It's SO much better to be in a relationship with a Libra man when you learn that everything doesn't have to go your way. We have a blast together, laugh all the time, and know that we want to spend our futures together. He's mentioned marriage...we'll see what happens! His actions match his words, so far, and I'm anxious to see what the future holds!! I'm always open to advice from Libras, because I don't want to let this one get away! smile
