Falling for him

Hey there,
its true that libras are very charming and its hard not falling for them. They are naturally nice people so how do you know when he's not just being nice and he really likes you?
We work together he opens doors for me, he keeps calling my name, makes me laugh my guts off i mean he's got it all. the charm, the looks, funny, fun to be around, great job yet he says he's single though it doesn't seem so to me. why would a guy like that still be single? is he playing with my emotions ? and if not how could a relationship between a cap and libra work out?

Libras do have charm. They are polite, and fair. They have ways of making each of the people they come in contact with feel special & on a pedestal of their own.
And even though this about them often puts up radar antennas to others who have been hurt mainly by those who started off as smooth talkers, Libras still usually win that battle b/c although there is something very suspicious about charmers, there is also something irresistible about them too!
So I get it. For someone more cautious like Capricorn, it's hard navigating your way when trying to figure out if you're getting such good treatment b/c it's reflective of how much they like you VS. them just naturally being that way with everybody! I get it. Who wants to fall for someone based on things that they are technically doing/giving to everyone!?!
This is where your logical mind needs to come in. This is where your wisdom & street smarts about men/women come in. This is when you need to measure interest based on "Action" the most.
Typically, if you remember these few things, you'll have a better chance at knowing where you stand:
1. If they are interested in you, they will tell you
2. Their words AND action will match. If you're getting all charm, but no action, they haven't done enough to prove themselves to you, therefore they haven't earned their right to your emotions/heart
3. People often decide to commit to those they truly cherish the most over others. If they want to commit to you, it's b/c they are willing to take a risk on choosing you over all of the other millions of people they could've chosen.
4. When a person is truly interested in you, yes they'll say/do sweet things, but they'll ALSO be consistent, put in the effort to communicate with you, etc.
Libras are human. They have the ability to charm someone in their sleep lol, BUT it's a helluva lot harder for them (or anybody) to fake "action" if the interest isn't really there. Also, watch how they talk to & interact with others. If you pay close enough attention, you'll be able to tell how differently they treat you vs. them even if what you notice is something small. When a Libra is truly into you, there will always be that 1 thing they do/say with you that they aren't doing with others. You've just gotta figure out what that "something" is lol
This is why paying more attention to what they do (and not just what they say) is the most important.

And he's single because he wants to be. When they're that charming and remain single, it's because they want to go and play. Either that or it could be a scenario where they're just too caught up in life stresses/job related things that take up a ton of their time and they aren't in the mindset to be in a relationship. ...in the meantime, they play around to get their rocks off.
And if by chance he isn't single and still does this, again, see my point about them being cockteases. It boosts the ego to flirt around. I've known quite a few who do that crap and are in relationships.
Don't fawn over him too much. You're likely one of many.

I wouldn't say Caps are boring but certainly a lot of them have the kind of outward demeanour that makes me think they'd rather be elsewhere. First impressions can be deceptive, however. Caps and Libras operate on the same vibe under the surface on some things. If we went all on appearance (which Libras are known to do) there's a lot of room for misunderstanding.


All of this. Also, libras don't shrug at the problems of their significant others...the ones i know don't, at least. In fact, we often get accused of being too involved and trying to problem solve for others too much, although that may just be the women.
To answer your first questions, libra men like to flirt and have fun like every other healthy and fun-loving person on the planet...but that's often all it is when they are younger, and libras usually don't even see being charming as flirting. Also, we all have this idea that if someone's got lots of positive traits there must be something terribly wrong if they're not in a relationship, when it may just be that they are trying to enjoy their lives and freedom. If you think he does like you though, just show your interest and openness to him and he'll make a move if he's also interested.

False hope is a far more cruel response to give someone than being blunt and honest.
She came here, clearly looking for signs that this guy is into her. The answer is likely not and he's just charming her.
She, in her old fashioned Cap ways, is letting herself fall into a trap that she shouldn't allow herself to.
I didn't say don't enjoy it, but don't sit here, demanding to be told the "positive" (aka delusional) side of the pairing after she wants to be told how the two fare or what the situation is really about. That's just stupid bullshit on her part. She's letting her estrogen take over and is letting her vagina do the reasoning here.
By all means, OP, enjoy it. But as Krys pointed out, pay attention to the usual, obvious, ACTION oriented signs of interest or you're gonna get burned.

Conflict makes their brains hurt.
My ex bailed on me when my grandmother died. I've also known of others to just flake and take off when shit got real with significant others or close friends. It's that "OMG I CAN'T HANDLE THIS SO I'LL RUN AWAY/BURY MY HEAD IN THE SAND" bit they tend to do. Kinda ties in with their avoidance of conflict.
Keep in mind though, all the crazy shit is going to be seen more in immature and unbalanced Libras. The ones that have their shit together aren't going to be the ones you hear in all the horror stories across the board.

The men and women are like night and day and some of you ladies do nothing but perpetuate dating myths and it's getting really old. Your silly ass may not like what I have to say, but I'll be the last one to feed anyone ANY sort of delusion when it comes to the behavior of males and the extremes that it can go to when it comes to dating and relating. This chick is already showing typical signs of a female falling into the usual bullshit. So far, she's yet to give examples of ACTIONS that show he's truly interested, which is what her primary concern is. Yes we are very charming. I can honestly say that there is probably only ten people on this world that hate me and most of the time it is work people. I agree with tiz in that I don't have a ton of secrets and I tend to treat everyone the same. It's a double edge sword though because it can often lead to people believing there is something there when there isn't or thinking we're not interested because it doesn't appear that we treat them any different. If you honestly look though, you'll see those subtle things (seems obvious to us) that we do that make you special. I have a head for details and if I'm interested I'll recall those little things a woman has said or done. Where as when I'm not interested, I'll pretend not to remember such things (though I do). Have the conversation and just get it out of the way. If you keep just trying to guess you'll likely never know.
As for the idea of you wondering how could he be single, I can definitely answer that. I tend to believe that most women assume one of three things about me. Either I am lying and not single. I'm a player and she will just be another notch on the belt or a name in a list. Or there is something super wrong with me that has kept me single. None of the above is actually true about me. I am single to a degree by choice, but mostly to bad timing or not reading signals properly. Ask me to read a person in a non-romantic way and I am rarely wrong. But if I have a romantic interest forget about it I'll be wrong. I had a friend at an old job once ask me who I slept with at the office. I laughed and said no one. It honestly didn't believe me. He couldn't believe that in all the times I was out and about with various groups that nothing had happened. On the flip side, I had a friend recently ask who I was dating and when I said no one she scoffed asking how that could be?
So in a wordy answer, ask and you will know.

i said no negative responses because i've read all the negative parts to a libra cap relationship already i just wanted to know the good side to this kind of relationship. Remember i am cap i don't fall inlove easily had i did i probably would have just play the role of a three year old and not ask questions. I'm only trying to see if as much bad responses people give about cap and libra relationship if there is actually a good side to it. But i still appreciate your response.

lolllll ok so let's break down all the nonsense here.
If the fact that i am not a libra man made my opinions on them invalid, what exactly are you posting yours all over this board for since they must also be invalid? You have an opinion on them because you have known libra men, just as i have.
Secondly, you are not just mean and bitchy, you are cynical and jaded, which you confuse for "just looking out for someone" like every other jerk on the planet. Please. I am all for being honest about the male libras- and i WAS here, actually- but the girl posted here about someone flirting and you immediately come in with "he's full of shit and it will never work." We all know libras come off as flirts, but you take it to a level that speaks more to your own pain from a libra than truth about libras.
