Giving It A Try. . .

Hey Ya'll,
I want to take things with this Libra guy with caution, but now that I really look at it. I'm cautious about every thing I do. I want to get to know this guy as a real person other than this un-realistic image in my head that people get of celebrities. He's a regular person and I want to know him as one. So, I'm considering asking Mr. Libra about getting together one day when we're both off from work. Besides, eversince I've been working there at the BP, he's been the only customer whose been consistent in coming thru mainly my line. This has been 7 months going on 8. He's easy to talk to and he's cool. I'm sure he wants to get to know me, so I'm going to ask him later on this week. Wish me luck.

I choked, bigtime. I was so nervous, but he was being his regular 'ole self. I'm going to have to collect myself and let this play out on it's own naturally. I felt so rehearsed when I was trying to remember what I was going to say to him. I'm just gonna try to be natural. This is so new to me because I've never liked anyone that much before. It's mutual, because he saw me around way before I started liking him. Yesterday I was at my 2nd job at Papa Johns. The AC was broken so it was a sauna in the pizza joint. I stepped out to go to my car and get my bottle of water, then I heard a car horn blowing at me twice. I didn't look up because I thought, "Who in the hell would blow at me?" Then I heard the horn blow twice again. I looked up and there he was cruising by with he head out of the driver window waving at me with the other hand on the wheel. He had a buddy in the car keeping the wheel steady while he was trying to get my attention. I then thought, "He must really like me in order to put forth that much energy just to tell me hi." Then again, I don't want to mis-intepret anything. What if he's really straight? That could be a real downer for me. But then again, I've never known straight guys to flip their hair for another guy. (Sigh) I don't know. I'll try again, but I'll remain natural.

You asked what makes me think that? Well, I was only saying that because I just don't want to be disappointed and look like an a** after finally getting to guts to ask about getting together. THe obvious clues are right in front of me. The other day, I was at my other job Papa Johns. I was walking to my car and I heard a car honking it's horn. The first few times I ignored it, then when it continued, I looked up to see it was him blowing his horn at me all while hanging slightly out of the drivers side window with his hand in the air hailing me. Luckily, he had a buddy with him holding the wheel steady. Then the next day, I went to the BP to grab a granola bar and head back over to Papa Johns across the street. He came in the store and that was the first time that I ever been face to face with him. He's about the same height as me, but I'm a quarter inch shorted. He has a large upper body with a small waist. As usual, he was playing around with me and teasing me about wearing the wrong shirt at the BP, but he knew I was off the clock and at Papa Johns. I went behind the counter and rang myself up regardless of my 2 co-workers who we're on shift. He followed and waited for me to ring him up, but my Aquarius co-worker called him over to her register since I was off the clock. I then left out the store to see his SUV with damage from the accident he told me about. I turned around to see him coming out the store, then I said "You weren't kidding." He knew I was talking about the accident damage, then he said "Yeah, I got f*cked up." Then he started laughing. His eyes were wider and more lively than usual. I then told him that I had to go back to Papa Johns. He said, "Okay brotha, I'll be seein' ya." I headed over to Papa Johns across the street thinking that he was getting into his car and drive off. But you want to know something? He didn't. He stood there the whole time watching me walk away while patting his pack of Camel Turkish Silvers. I didn't realize that until I got to the door of Papa Johns and saw him in the glass reflection. When I realized that he watched me walk away, I gasped "No Way?!". Nothing like this has ever happened to me before, but now that it is I want to seize it slowly and surely.

Somehow, I got called into work to cover my Gemini co-worker's morning shift on Saturday. In colateral, I get to get off at 6pm. 2 hours into the shift, my Libra admirer came thru and on top of that, my Aquarius-Pisces Cusp friend (Erin) came thru. She was like, "Dude, you got to come to the reggae festival with me!" I then thought that her timing was on point because I get off at 6pm that day. I told her, "Well, yeah we can go. Call me and then we'll head there." My Libra admirer overheard us, then he said to me," Reggae Festival? I'll be there and I'll be seeing you." But I ended up not seeing him because the festival begun at 7:30pm and it was too dark to find anyone within the crowd that was there. Erin was with her Ex-boyfriend Butch(whose a Leo) and his 2 kids. We all had a ball. As for my Libra admirer? I saw him the next day, and he told me that he could've made it out there at the festival yesterday because his dog got sick. He wanted to bring his dog out there with him. I then thought, "Was he going to come alone with his dog?" I originally thought he was going to bring a few of his buddies or someone. So then he paid for some gas then went outside to pump it. I had this impulse to follow him outside, so I did 5 minutes later when I saw on the computer he was almost finished fueling. So I ran outside to his car, and apparently he saw me coming so he lowered his window. I asked him, "When are you available to hangout?" He asked me, "What time do you get off?" I told him at eleven, but he had to get up early for his construction job. We couldn't find a middle ground, because he's off in the evenings when I'm working. So then he said, "We'll work something out." So now, I'm just sitting back letting things play it's course. My Scorpio co-worker told me that a young guy with a cap with brown hair evenly trimmed at the nape of his neck asked her, "So, how's my friend Anthony doing?" I immediately knew it was him. That made me felt really good. I'm hoping for things to unfold into something really nice.

I am SOOOOO happy for you; man I feel like 'I' just got lucky...lol!! I laugh at just about everything, and am quite romantic myself....I can't help dreaming of that day when I look into the one who will change my life's eyes....aw gawd, I can't stand it...dreaming evry night about ms.right, or maybe mr...I know it'll be a girl, but life throws ya curve balls, and well I'm ready to catch 'em....I wonder though....who is it that will make me feel this way? Where is she....what will I feel when I'm around her? I want it to be like, a fairy-tale er somethin.....damn, this moon in cancer...lol!!

You are a trip. (Laughs.) I did ask my guy if he wanted to get together, but we came to see that our schedules didn't fit any availability when we compared them. He's been around passing by, but I haven't seen him in a while since then. One regret that I have is that I didn't get him to exchange numbers with me. I've learned another thing about him. While I was delivering a pizza for my job at Papa Johns, I saw his house. I gave a heavy gasp and then ran a stop sign. My heart just started beating fast because this is where he lives. His car was in the front yard. I'm trying to keep myself in control of not becoming insecure and worried when I don't see him for a few days. I think he may really like me because I've wrote him a note once telling him that I admire him, and he still chose my services at the BP regardless. He gave me a card, then I gave him a "Thank You" note. I don't know. I try not to think of it too much because it'll make me crazy. He'll be back to see me. I know it, and when he does, I'll get his phone number just to be in touch with him so that we can get together and go out. Besides, he has a birthday next month. Who knows, I just might get him something.
