...in my Mind we were no longer together...I was through...done...finished...and my actions showed it...he was a bit slow in getting that message...not my fault...some have considered that a cheat...but I no longer thought of myself as being in a relationship and was moving on...

I really don't think I cheated...

...people change you can not always judge someone by their past...if that past has an uncontrolable habit of spilling over into the present then that could be a future indicator though...

I cheated because of the situation. It is a really long story as I was an emotional ruin (just broke up with fianc?) and someone pushed me into a relationship before I was ready. I slept with my ex-fianc? several times because I was still really madly in love him.

I don't think it really matters. I think the reason why someone cheats is what you need to look at. People are people. You can either live with them and they way they are or you can't. You either accept them or you don't.

You can never say never because you will never know what life will hand you.

thats why i personally hate the phrase "once a cheater, always a cheater" because some people learn from their mistakes but then again some people can care less...

thats why I feel no one can say what they "never" would do unless they are actually going through the situation...

No, it takes me too long to form a bond with my current to be able to cheat spontaneously with another. My heart, mind and focus has to be on the person that I am with. I wouldn't pass the first stage with another (heart) if i'm already in a relationship.
