How do Libras define unbalance?

ok.. starting a new thread..
To me I know am unbalanced when things dont fall in right place and time as it always happens.
I was trying to come up with a clear, concise and deep way to describe knowing when I am unbalanced. But I think the easiest way to tell, a Libra is unballanced if any one thing takes up the majority of thier mental energy. A libra's attention should flow from one thing to the other without getting stuck on any one thing for any longer than it takes to accomplish it.
Be weary of a Libra that ponders the eternal questions of life and the world we live in, for when we find true balance all of the questoins turn to answers in the form of simply knowing....and it comes right after knowing who we are and what we want.
Any type of conflict with another person (friend, family, boyfriend) leaves me feeling very unbalanced. I feel unbalanced when my Cap moon rules my decision making and the way I see myself. Libra is so optimistic while Cap is so pessimistic. I also feel unbalanced when my scorpio traits (I have scorpio in 5 different places in my chart) come out and make me act very jealous, secretive, or vindictive. Luckily, most of the time I am happy and feel balanced because we ultimately are in control of how we feel.
"You can't control what happens to you but you can control how you react." Not sure who said this or if this is exactly how the quote goes but you get the idea.
LLL, how negative can a cap go?
I don't know about most caps, and I do only have cap in my moon, but I tend to freak out about the smallest things. It sometimes feels like it's the end of the world. It is usually over finances, job security, or whether or not people like me. I have read that this is typical of caps. My libra side always wants to spend all of my money while my cap side tells me that I will lose my apt. or car and that I won't have enough money for food. It's silly because I make a very decent salary for my age and I have had the same job for 3 years.
I think I'm learing to balance the cap aspect of my personality. It is the scorpio in me that scares me. Scorpios are mean.
***Scorpios are mean.*** Sad I hear we can be... We are extreme, either love you or hate you. happy or sad, not many grey areas for the most part. Mostly black or white.
OS, I'm sorry. Don't be sad. I'm sure you're lovely. =) I just said that because I know I can be mean.
LLL, thanks for explaining. I have my Mars in Cap and I pretty much can see where it sits in my character (my ambitions bascially). I appreciate a little capricorn in an 'important' planet because the presence of Libra (I have five planets) alone is a continuous free fall of analysis of the unimportant things in life e.g. does my bum look big in this?
Thanks again...

Hmmmmm does this include work?? Mine has become extremely busy at work and its taking over lately (this is NOT like him, he's so not a work-a-holic LOL)....He's neglecting other things in his life, including his own family...Im sure he doesnt mean it but he seems so fixated on working...weird!!
I've seen him unbalanced a few times and normally turns to drinking way too much - one thing I do not like about him...he's a happy drunk though, just that he turns to it when he's unbalanced *shrugs*
Chatz, that could just be a guy thing. Guys tend to focus on work when they're frustrated about something or want to think or wnat to "escape" from another area in their life---simialar to going into their cave. Usually they'll come out of the workaholic mode with some answers.
When my negative emotions override my ability to think my way out.

When an Aries or Leo come wandering into their lives.
Ha!
Chatz,
If you read some of my "old" posts from last year, I wrote about a libra female friend I was frustrated with. The long and short of the story is that she was (or still is) consumed by work (or so it seems).
My friend was at a company that was struggling. People were getting laid off or quitting and she was on the road (she's a corporate IT trainer) seemingly 3 weeks out of every month. She hung on for at least 2 years like this.
Sometime last year, my friend finally bite the bullet and got herself a new job that would push her to nearly a six-figure salary. However, new job didn't equal less stress. Through informed sources, I heard my friend was having issues though I wasn't 100% sure if it was work related (I'd say 75% sure). I don't really know what that means though.
Whatever the issue is, my friend has dug in deep and has basically vanished from the radar.
And as others here (Little Sparrow, among others) have noted, once a Libra digs in, it is hard to convince them to "move" or budge. Once a Libra buries themselves into their cave, you will not get them out.
I'm not sure if my friend's work is the issue or she has other issues and she is using work as the escape. Regardless, it appears that work can throw a Libra off-balance just as any other person. I am sure that my constant chatter to my Libra friend has not helped. I'm an Aries and patience has never been my best virtue (though I am admittedly better these days).
Hi coach41, yeah I think work throws off Libra. My Libra was struggling making money for the last couple years. I helped her with a few things and she started making a decent income AND was buried in her work (concentrating ONLY on work) for weeks at a time. She came up for air once in awhile simply because I think I helped her generate money. I think you're right on here. BTW, welcome to a fellow Aries!
Yeah - it's interesting that on the surface, Libra is just fun loving and charming. Below the surface, they are possess a deep determination and drive that isn't always apparent.
My Libra friend had disappeared before. After she got her undergraduate degree, she went for her Masters. At the same time, she interned or worked some job for minimum or no pay 40 hours a week. For nearly two full years, I hardly heard from her despite many attempts to contact her.
In fact, one time when I tried to contact my friend and did not hear from her, I let her know it would be nice to hear back from her. However, I get chastised from my friend. She was busy and said I couldn't expect her to respond in a timely manner.
I guess that is why my friend is probably the most successful among our "old group of friends". She is driven and determined to get what she wants. Her friends, especially from our "old group" (including me now) are left behind.
I don't know if this is necessarily a Libra trait but that is how my friend is.
