How to tell if they are serious about you

This is something someone sent me when I was going through some terrible dating times. It is called Ways to tell if he's going to marry you but I think it works just as well for men as it does women. It is a good indicator if someone is interested enough AND if they are emotionally available for a relationship.

The list falls into the catogory of making it easy for you. If the relationship is easy and uplifts you, go for it. If you have been dating for a month, two months and you are all bent up inside and confused, upset, etc ... they aren't good for you regardless of what anyone feels!

Ways to tell if he's going to marry you

1. He makes the first move.

2. He calls within 24-48 hours to set up a first date.

3. He makes the first date easy & fun.

4. He calls again within 24 hours of the first date to set up a second date.

5. He wants to talk everyday & spend all of his free time together.

6. He demonstrates unconditional loyalty.

7. He talks about marriage in concrete terms & proposes.


# Men who aren't interested in marriage can easily trick you into thinking
that they are.

Red flag behavior so you won't be fooled again.

Did you know that:

# A man who takes you out for a last minute coffee date is more likely to
say "I do" than one who plans an elaborate date at his favorite restaurant?

# A man who brings you into his social circle right away probably won't end
up popping the question?

# A man who constantly sends e-mails/text messages
is less likely to marry you than a man who simply calls every night? (And

In all seriousness, marriage isn't necessarily my goal. I would like a life-long partnership and .... in all seriousness ... my relationship with my Aries is going swimmingly.

As I always joke, I fing earned it! After all I went through ... I deserve a great guy/relationship. I am very happy I have that. He is wonderful.

Marriage is not the goal for a libra or aqua. Its the nonverbal commitment from the partner what counts.

I had a chat with my libra flatmate and her gemini friend couple of weeks ago. She has been with her Aries man for few many years by now. Tried a leo, a saggi and landed in Aries and she is happy. Her theory - a good friend is always the right candidate for a partner. A good lover will only make you sad in the long run.

what a bitter theory! What's a lover ? What's a friend ? Who gives the titles? Who gives the definitions for them ?

The difference between a friend and a lover is based on the amount of mutual understanding and acceptance based on the amount of honest information provided by each parties.

From what I see, it's the perception of people , the expectation and the past experience of people form the definition of "friend" and "lover" and put these two into different categories.
On the other hand , it's true that having a friend who can respect you and understand you is a preferable option than having a partner who can not accept you for who you are and constantly is looking for the greener field. Yet, the disappointment , the pain , the illusion in a relationship, aren't they all about the needs and wants of a human being ? The self -fulfilling prophecy of each individual ...

I think it is pretty clear what the distinction between friend turned partner and lover are. One is stable the other is built upon lust and passion and rarely lasts.

Yeah, but one that sticks and I like as much is ideal. When damnit!!! I have played the field enough, it is boring me. Tired of going through life alone in other aspects. Want a partner!
