Hurricanes

So this is the first time this year people in the Gulf have had a scare with the hurricane season. Yesterday, Houston had about 9 inches of rain and a lot of our roads were impassable due to high water. That was from a tropical depression, Erin....now with Hurricane Dean, it looks as if this is heading towards the Gulf of Mexico and predictions show it will be a category 2 or 3 when it makes landfall. They also predict it will get as high as a category 4 a day or two before it makes landfall.

August - October are the months I wish I didn't have a beach house. I'm under the weather at present and will be going to the Home Depot and other places to stock up and just wait to see what direction this storm takes before I start boarding up the windows.
Make sure you have everything stocked up and stay safe. If the weather you guys have had already this year is any indicator, this is going to be a pretty crazy season for you guys.
The weather has been weird here in Phoenix too, but fortunately for us it has translated more mildly into a lack of 110 to 120 degree temperatures and lots of humidity with the temps right around 100 degrees. So in other words, MILD summer for here with more storms. Wish you guys could say the same.
Be careful HP.
Or you can stay with me HP, while it isn't freezing in Chicago.
Thanks.
Be careful LEEBRA.
The Season isn't over yet. Most major hurricanes form in late- August to mid-September.
