Can anyone explain as to why Libra and Capricorn is just not such a good combo?
Convince me, please.

I think it is a difference in the gender per sign.
Libra man/Cap woman - Don't seem like it will work out at all
Libra woman/Cap man - ??????

They say that Air and Earth signs don't mesh; Earth is drawn to Water signs and Fire is drawn to Air signs. I'm Taurus (Earth) and have been dating a Libra (Air) for 6 months.
I know that for each element, there's a fix, cardinal and mutable signs. Taurus is fixed and Capricorn is cardinal. Libra is also a cardinal sign. There's a lot of competition between these two signs and lots of attention seeking.
Most of us Earth peeps like to control people and situations; Libras are happy go lucky, fly by the seat of their pants. Earth peeps are methodical and fixed in our ways and Libras are free spirits.
Most of us Earthies are savers, while Air signs tend to like to spend.
From what I've gathered, Cappies are not strong communicators and Libras seek that out in a partner.
There are a LOT of things I'm working on with my relationship (biggest two are jealousy and trying to control), but the biggest thing we have going for us is communication. Well we have two things going for us, but well we've already covered how awesome the sex is, so I won't go there!

Because they don't want to walk beside you. They want you to carry them. (So has been my limited experienced.)

"LS, Cappy's want you to carry them?"
Actually that kind of rings true in my past relationships with Cap women as well.....they want you to carry them in a sense of security and validation. They see our free spiritedness and risk taking and courage and they want to experience it through us. It can be a good thing, they may see this in us and if both people are on the same level they could provide the orginizational tools to actually make this part of us stronger and more sucessful, but most of the time they just sit back and admire but then at the same time get really scared that your always adapting one day is going to lead you adapting to a life without them. They seem to develop this fear that you will see them as too boring and practical and then they start to get emotionally volitile when that happens.
You end up being the source of progress and the person keeping things on an even keel...in a sense...carrying the relationship.

Both are cardinal signs.
One is air and other is earth.
Libra is optimistic, cappy is pessimistic.
Anything can be worked out anyway for libra. "Grandpa/Grandma is always right" is cappy.
They do what they figure out and push libra to follow them.
Cappy makes the last of the maturity levels in zodiac - grandfather/grandmother syndrome. After tat aqua and pisces are spiritual and back to childhood. So they behave like old people and act like they know everything the way it is. You shut up. we will guide you. Which libra cannot enjoy. If you are seeing a cappy, after a while you will realize you are always answering her questions and she hardly ever answer any of your questions and often carry the conversation the way she likes. If you ask her again, she wont talk and will go all silent.

Cappys are so much hard work!! Pessimistic? definitely....most I know have old souls as well and they find it hard to behave in that child like manner that Librans might enjoy....know what I mean?? Things are way too serious with a Cappy.
Cappys and Virgos - argghhhh (sorry to anybody who gets offended at that)

Hey HP, yeah, your friends are wacky... Crazy man...
Wow, it's really interesting to read what everyone thinks of Libra/Cap. I tried so hard to make my relationship with a Cap male work. I spent 4 years trrying to make it work. it doesn't, at all! We had totally different views on things and he was so subborn that he couldn't compromise. He worked hard and played hard, but prefered to do it from home, by himself. I tried to lift (and carry) him with my free spirit, but he always managed to chush it with his ill will. He loved his job more than me and it showed. Now, I'm not saying that it was all bad, because it wasn't. When we did connect it was on a whole new level that made everything worth while. But that can't last forever. Leaving him was the best thing that I could've done for myself. I'm not saying that this match doesn't work, it just didn't work for us. Would I date a Cap male again? With much causion perhaps.

Wow, for the first time in all my involvements with Libras, I see quite a few get involved with Caps... What is the attraction. I think Cap guys are very hard workers, good friends, but corny mates.

Cappy men and women has a charm and good manners in the beginning. They take a huge effort to chase libra down. Since we happen to be shy most times to literally chase down someone in public, we get carried away by this effort. Someone seriously showing some interest in us. Asking us so many things and flirting around... Slowly we level it up with them after we recover from the initial shock and surprise.. But as soon as we level it up with cappy, cappy will sense the danger and will go cold feet and start feeling that we are impossible to conquer and control like they first expected. Slowly libra finds more and more faults with cappy and sometimes makes it a point to suggest few things which cappy can no way stand. rest you can imagine..

***Now that he 's gone back to his home - another country , I felt nothing , all the love for a friend being washed away...who to blame ?...***
There is no one to blame... You were honest with your friend, he just didn't want to accept it and he let that interfere with your friendship.

Thanks thelibran, I get it. Wow.
It's hilarious: my ex cappy husband (of whom i think that manipulative, liar, immature and gambler describe him perfectly) has a libra girlfriend now. God help her!

From the Cappys I know, them purposely avoiding you would be a good indication as they hate facing things and would rather the other person do the work....
