Libra: flirting vs. cheating

From what I understand about Libras, when they are in love they still playfully flirt with other people (it's in their nature) but they will never cheat on you. But if they end up getting frustrated and dissatisfied with their partner they could end up cheating. The question to all Libras out here how can one tell if Libra partner is just plain and simple flirting or is already showing signs that he/she is cheating on you?

Libras will have quick and meaningless sex. It is, in the realm of the Libran experience to simply enjoy sex for sex sake and nothing more whether they are in a relationship or not, whether they love their partner or not.

No. I've never cheated in my long term relationships.
Niether has a Libra friend, He's been with his g/f for 7 years iirc, since they were 19.

I flirt with everyone male or female just cant help myself and dont even realise im doing it! Now am i faithful? Hmm I dont condone cheating but i have done it, no excuse but i was very unhappy in the relationship and i didnt know how to get out of it without hurting the guys feelings. I was also setting up my next relationship ready for when the split finally came, I he a very bad habit of doing the whole relationship hop thing!

same here i am actually very picky about who i sleep with, dont just jump into bed with anyone. Why would i want meaningless sex when there is always someone i care about who i can have it with, myself smile

This has also been the one for me, I would always explain this to my partener and practically beg him to give me more attention but to no avail, not sure if its a coincidence but both times it has been with cancerians that i have had this problem!

Honestly I'm in this Situation right now ask we speak. I'm a Libra and also the Woman I'm friends with is a Libra, we do flirt with each other but we just kissed even though she is with someone that causing more problems then helping.

From how I see it flirting can lead to cheating to a Libra if he/she is not happy in a relationship and if Libra is young and carefree. But if Libra is in his/her prime and very much committed he/she is truly faithful.
My Libra guy assured me that I'm the only woman in his life. I have felt it too in the start of our relationship. Ours is a LDR though but traveling miles to see me is already one thing for me to consider that he is serious. He is at his prime and had told me that he is at the stage where he wants to get married, he just couldn't find the right woman for him. I know that he found that in me cause he said I was the only woman were he had fun time with on a trip. His past trips with exes always end up in arguments. He is also talking of marriage and he was there with me when I needed his emotional support.
BUT, lately something happened. I don't know if it was me being depressed of the event that happened in my personal life or it's about him. I know he is playfully flirting with his female friends, and I made that an issue. He even came to a point of lying to me of his whereabouts when he tried visiting a friend. He told me he lied that he is home cause he knew that I would give him an earful. Now I'm afraid that the constant nagging and arguing that I'm giving him could lead him to go astray. Or perhaps he had already cheated on me, I'm not so sure of his faithfulness anymore. I used to trust him but now I'm losing it since he made a big mistake of LYING to a Sadge.
I wanted to pull away but I can't, too much time and emotions had been invested already. The one thing that pissed me off now is that each time I open up the issue he is either ignoring it or putting all the blame on me. But when I'm not talking about it, to him it's like nothing happened.
Now I'm afraid that his flirting with other girls could lead to cheating when we are having COLD WARS. What should a Sadge do? Sad

As to the question of when the line gets crossed... in my opinion the line has much less to do with the cheating than most people think. The problem with flirting is that is can lead to trust issues, that is the real line. Whether cheating happens or not, if the trust is broken the line was crossed. If you cannot handle a guy who flirts, a Libra will drive you nuts.
On the other hand, he should be respectful enough of you not to do anything that he wouldn't do if you were there. When I am with someone, I still flirt with other people. However, if I know that something makes the person I am with uncomfortable I will tone it down or stop completely (depending if it matters to me). Lying is a big no-no regardless of why he did it.

I don't know if anyone would agree with me on this, I see his chatting with other female friends on-line as flirting. Since we are on LDR (we are from different countries) our communication line is mostly thru webchatting. We do chat everyday except on days that either one of us is pissed with the other. When we weren't chatting he is talking with his friends and sometime in the past I do notice that he was chatting with a friend while we chat. I tried telling him that I don't like the idea of him chatting with his friends. The fact that chatting is our only means to be together while he is back home I don't see his need to chat with some friends everyday. I'm fine with the idea that he chats with them from time to time, but doing it everyday and also getting into their problems is not a good idea.
In fairness to him, when we are together I don't see him flirting with other girls. He is friendly and cheerful with everyone, but doesn't flirt in front of me. I did catch him one time though back-hugging one of his female friends (a local), when I fetched him one time from work from his visits with friends. I was pissed seeing them like that but he told me he was just comforting a "younger sister" and that there's nothing wrong with the hug (the girl is almost half is age though). I also saw one of his pictures almost kissing the neck of another female friend of his, he reasoned out that that friend is pregnant and that they were just being playful with their poses on cam.
Because of these incidents and the arguments we had, he started to keep things from me. That includes the visit he had with his friends, he told me he was home but his brother-in-law told me that he hasn't come home yet. He said he lied to me cause he doesn't want us to argue about it. He knows I have issues with his friends but to him he is not about to give up on them unless we are living on the same roof.
I don't know if I'm just too jealous or he is just too friendly to a fault...

Since he knows I couldn't handle him being too friendly with girls one time he was here I requested him not to visit his local friends, he obliged. I guess I was too pushy on the issue that he should stop communicating with them this is why he is NOW keeping secrets about it. It matters to him that he shouldn't ignore his friends, but it matters to me that all of his chatfriends are female. I really don't get it...

I just re-read that and realize that I might have come off as kind of bossy. Sorry about that! We cardinal signs are bossy little beasts sometimes :-p.

What you should do: if you can't trust him, DUMP HIM! Without trust, honesty, and communication, you have nothing. Plus, to be very honest--and I really hate to say this--but I do think that he might cheat on you, if he hasn't already. Going out with other girls and flirting with them, and then lying about it, is a big red flag, I think.


I have trusted him in the past and let him visit his friends even if I don't join him. But because of the latter events that transpired we came to an agreement that he would bring me along next time he visits them. I have lost my trust in him when he lied to me that he was back home but instead he stayed in a friend's house and till now he is not telling me where and whom he visited. Each time I would ask him about it he dismisses me and said he won't tell me unless it will no longer be an issue for me. Duh!!! He was the one at fault cause he lied so he owes me an explanation. BUT to him I'm just too jealous and that telling me about it will just cost us more arguments. Sheez!

There is nothing on my mind, no agenda, no alterier motive, flirting is just the way i communicate. I do it subconciously. When I was younger my friends used to get weird with me because they thought I was trying it on with their boyfriends, after about a million fall outs they finally learnt that i was harmless, now when there boyfriends flirted back that could be tricky because some of them did have alterier motives!
