Libras and Argueing

Ok me and my bf have had a few disagreements over things. When I get upset I get heated pretty easily.. I'll ignore the person and when the person decides to talk to me I usually have an attitude for about 5 minutes and than we talk it out. I can't just apologize later because the feeling is still pent up inside me, I have to express it somehow.. I usually do this in an arguement. But my bf doesn't like to argue. He will just ignore me and than expect to come back later and everything be calm and better. He likes talking things out later, which is understandable. And most of the time I can just let things go and than get over it.. but sometimes I want to yell at him. I want to be able to tell him i'm angry. Because I need to get the feeling out. And it is just irritating because he wont let me. He is reasonable but it is just annoying sometimes, It makes me feel like I'm the one who is wrong when it was him.

Is this normal Libra behavior.. don't like to argue, not debate, but argue. He likes debating.. but he doesn't like us argueing. I don't get it.

well i love arguing, i dont mind it i have a leo moon so it kinda feeds my intense emotions i guess im dramatic

yep debate is awesome. i hate dealing with emotions, with other people. it's one thing to do it when i'm alone. i can do that. but with other people, they expect you to communicate emotions. i tend to try to intellectualize emotions when dealing with other people. i'll end up turning something into some vague parable, or i'll philosophize something. instead of just talking about how i feel.

i feel feelings in a physical way. i can communicate them physically. i can't talk about them. and if you force me to, it'll be a lot more unpleasant than it has to be...because on top of whatever else is going on, i'll be super pissed off at you for forcing me to talk about emotions, or to talk about something that makes me feel emotional, and i'll be pissed off at myself for being such a horrible failure at talking about it.

so basically...if i hit something, i'm pissed off. if i get all cuddly and neck-kissy, i'm love drunk. if i get all huggy and quiet, i'm sad about something that is not your fault. if i share no physical contact and avoid eye contact and likely also verbal contact, i'm sad or hurt, and it's probably your fault, but i don't expect you to do anything. if i share no physical contact and glare at you, it's your fault and i'm challenging you to fix it right now. if i tilt my head to the right while looking at you, i want to kiss you. if i tilt it so far to the right my neck might snap, i probably won't be able to talk because every drop of energy in me is going towards not raping you in public and there is a dirty, dirty scene of that playing in my head, complete with the chicaboomboom porno music. if my head is tilting to the left while i look you in the eye, you are very annoying to me. if i also grin, i want to kill you. the bigger the grin, the more gruesome the murder scene playing in my head is.

as for arguments...no, i don't like them. i don't like how out of control they make me feel. i don't like going off on people and potentially burning bridges. i can be incredibly cruel. i always know just the thing to say to make you feel like worthless, unloveable scum. i know what you're insecure about. and you can't unring a bell. once someone says something like that, you can't ever really feel safe around them again. it's the beginning of the end.

libras can be very scary, destructive forces of nature if you force it. and if you keep forcing it, he will give you your argument. watch out. it won't be the cathartic experience you want.

Very good descriptions and explanations here! Debate is fine... fun even. A heated argument, not so much.

With the head tilts, watch the mouth also. A tilt to the right and a smile = good times coming. To the left with a smirk/scowl/pursed lips = run for your life.

In a clam environment I can articulate feeling well and will share if asked. In the throws of battle I'm the same sharp tongued, stuttering, verbal flamethrower that has been described here.

Libras don't argue. They just say some shit to shut you down, and move on, like Gemini's and Aquarians. It depends on the strength of the person that they shut down to be able to take it.

Yes, Cancers DO cry too much. It's one of their "constants". But, Pisces come in a very close second, they just use "tears" to their advantage. Even though the "advantage" is for reasons that will ultimately screw them in the end. HaHa!

I am sorry to say it air and water dont mix...The Libra will always have the upper habd over the cancer..one of the weakest water signs.. because they are close to gemini they have a tolernate nature.. me being a gemini also an air sign I have to be on my game with LIbra; the most hard to read signs in my opionion of all...they have to feel it from day one. Its a clock kind of a thing they can be clculaying but they wont ever tell u what they are calculating...its their business and noone else's. I would love to see a Scorpio go toe to toe with them.

Not a full cancer. Technically I am leo with a cusp on cancer, so I don't neccesarily have that problem. And he doesn't have anything over me because regardless of sign, I'm not weak. In fact.. I like to argue. I like to express myself when angry. He doesn't at all so it is frustrating.. but I can deal with it.

I do cry alot. Just not in front of him. i don't like crying in front of anyone.
