Libras and selfishness?

I'm pretty sure you guys are familiar with the story of my and my libra girl from previous post, we've been on a better track lately, but a reoccurring issue has just resurfaced. That being, her selfishness, I feel like anything I do that makes her uncomfortable or upsets her, or anything, I'm always very open to apologizing and trying to turn away from that behavior, for her, ehhh, not so much, it's like she always tries to deflect the wrong off of herself to me, I find myself having to apologize and trying to smooth things over just to keep the peace between the two of us, when in reality, I'm not the one who was wrong in the first place, is this typical libra behavior? Or is she maybe just an immature libra when it comes to taking responsibility of her wrong doings? My sister is actually dating a libra male and she's always complaining about how selfish he is as well, it always seems to be a case of, if libra does something, we're expected to get over it (because there's always an excuse or an empty apology) but if we do something, possibly the exact same thing, it's the end of the world....

...You're dense. ...And desperate, apparently. You were told in your original post that this clearly isn't a compatible relationship, yet you're trying to force it to work. You're just as selfish as she is, tbh.

rst post here. Only two posts coddled the situation and encouraged you to stick around. TWO. The rest advised that this wouldn't work. If relationships are this fucked from the beginning, it clearly isn't meant to work. Why are you clinging to dysfunction? What is YOUR emotional fuckery that you think this is worth hanging on to?

I can say with certainty even if deep down she loves you this will never work. I've been in a similar situation in the past. On reflection I treated the guy (who eventually became my fiancé) like shit. If you are arguing with a libra constantly then it's done.

You said the good out weighs the bad, I don't think that's true if you two are apparently arguing over everything. You two don't seem to agree on much. Looks like you and your libra are straight up not compatible with one another.

I'm a libra and i dated a cap for about 6 months. We were best friends and really connected. It ended up badly though, because towards the end, we fought consistently about pointless shit that didnt matter. .

We're both 24, I feel that the only way I'd be able to hold her accountable for her actions is to remove myself from the situation, which sucks because I'd obviously rather be with her, it's just frustrating that she can't seem to get this accountability thing down, I don't want much just a simple acknowledgement and apology (when it's needed) so that we don't always end up in a heated argument, I get so angry that I say a bunch of hurtful shit all over some petty situation that could've been avoided if she could put herself in my shoes from time to time. It could definitely be that we're just not compatible and we won't work out, but it's just not in me to say "well this is done because you're a libra and I'm a cap and we'll never work out" lol, I'd rather end this knowing I've tried all I could, that's the only thing that drew me to this message board, I'm very interested in knowing all I can about libra women, she's by far the most.... difficult girl I've ever been involved with (this is more so to the assholes who are obviously annoyed with my post but continue to respond instead of ignoring them) Winking

@raindancer that's actually exactly what she told me, my way of approaching the situation when I'm mad makes it hard for her to come to the apology stage because I'm "so disrespectful" when I'm mad, guess that's something I should take into consideration more

And as far as rockyroad, I appreciate your advice, your deliverance offends me a bit (guess that's how my girlfriend feels) lol. a piece of advice to you would be to not be as bold to a cap in person, or you might get hurt, at least if the cap is as "desperate" and defensive as me smile thanks for the people that actually helped, especially sugarfoot.

You claim she's in the wrong, but instead of setting her straight and confronting your issues, you either gloss them over or apologize/take the blame. Thus, your problems remain unresolved and the cycle repeats itself. You may feel that it's better to overlook petty issues rather than hash them out, but the more you ignore them, the more they accumulate. Eventually, those few insignificant misunderstandings end up snowballing into one big mess.

Ever heard the saying, "Give them an inch and they'll take a mile"? All signs are selfish to some degree, not just Libras. Some people will take and take just to see how much you'll allow them to get away with. If you put minimal effort into treating someone with respect, yet, they continue to cater and stick around, what incentive would you have to change your ways?

Like @tiziani said in your previous thread, at some point, you're going to need to put your foot down and let her know what it is you will and will not stand for. Realize that she is not forcing you to tolerate her behavior. Regardless of what her expectations may be, you have a choice.

Libras are good at seeing things as they relate to themselves. They aren't good at putting themselves in other peoples shoes. The need freedom and will only do things if THEY choose it.

I'm telling you Cap/Libra is ussually very difficult unless the charts are really complimentary. Initially it is exciting to be with someone so different from you but over time the differences will chip away at positive things you saw in the relationship.

As a cap, I struggled with change and letting go of bad relationships. Not all relationships are with keeping. The good thing about Libra is that you can always stay friends with them.

No offence, but you just trumped anything she might have said to "offend" anyone. The truth hurts wittle insecure babies in immature relationships.

Yet, you're telling someone they are hated for stating their opinion. Oh and you said for them to kill themselves.

You've got plenty of issues to deal with I guess. To have that much animosity towards a faceless internet user just proves your feelings are attached.
