as friends, i absolutely love geminis. especially in my school years, some of my best friends were gems. even though they were kinda out there and had short attention spans, i always felt like they "got" me and cared. they're usually very silly and fun to be around.
however, sad geminis are some of the most awful people to be around. maybe they didn't have enough friends growing up or something, but they're madly bitter and just miserable to be around. i'm gonna guess it's got more to do with other planets in placements that are incompatible with the gemini sun.
taurus-gemini cuspers are almost always sociopathic jerks. they're delusional and self-righteous and don't give a fuck about anyone. they're terribly narcissistic and very good at manipulating people for personal gain. also, they'll pretend they've got more gemini than they do, some will say they're gemini when they're really on the last day of taurus, for example. gemini-cancer cuspers are usually really sweet, though.
for dating, it's a no-go. love em as friends, but with a venus in scorpio and moon in leo, dating a gemini would lead me to commit murder-suicide. lol.

I wish I had a good Gem girlfriend to call my BFF or whatever mushy sh% t.
The geminis that slid into my life and passed out of it (school, work) were not exactly strong enough for even a friendship.
There is one that was good friends for a while. She was Gem sun, Gem moon. I liked her because she was one of the more focused people I've met (not attentional-schizo), and she was very intriguingly like a Scorpio. But, she's way more focused on work/money than cultivating friendships.
I have not met a Gemini with water and earth influences, but I wished I did growing up (rather than make that dumb Aries into my close friend).
As for the men, I've met gemini truly nice guys, the mindf@cks, and the houdini-type mindfreaks. I tend to like the first, and the houdini types are truly unforgettable, but there's something in my chart perhaps - I've not had any geminian friends greater than superficial friendship. There's something about the trine that prevents things.

Loud, talkative, flirty, flighty, curious, witty etc. etc.
Only difference is that I'm pretty emotional and sensitive due to my water/earth placements

Well, we both go to school together & we weren't like close friends but we clicked in a lot of things. She's a boutique owner, I'm working on a line and I really wanted to learn from her from the inside & out about the nature of the business, dealing w/ buyers & distribution, etc. We'd talk sporadically and each time, she'd throw her detailed compliments. One day, I decided to pay her a visit & we literally talked about anything & everything for a good 5 hours straight. If there's anything about me, I LOVE random conversations....and it was perfect: no messy transitions, debates w/out too much bias, personal info to "shootin the sh*t", no awkward silences. It was like cramming months worth of conversations into a seamless stream of consciousness. I really didn't care that she had a boyfriend (or according to her, "he said 'you're my girl' but I never said yes to him") because even if we never got anywhere, we could end up being great friends. I really admired her attention to detail, her creativity, her passion & drive, her overall personality & randomness, and I really dug the way she talked. She had this vocal intonation that made her sound interested/curious/excited about everything I had to say. I think what broke me about her was her flattery and being as analytical as me, telling me ".....you're going to be great someday, I can tell." and using the most minute descriptions in the way she went about elaborating why. We Libras love it when people not only remember the things we say, but point out the things we wouldn't think anyone else would notice. I've never clicked w/ anyone else like that other than my best friends (Scorpio, Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, sometimes my Cancer friend but his memory absolutely sucks, so much to the point that he literally rewrites history), not even any past GFs (last one was a 5.5 year relationship w/ a Cancer & we still re

That's Gem's way of telling you SHE DIGS YOU. We know right away, I mean, RIGHT AWAY, whether we're into you or not. NO, NO, NO. She was dropping HINTS in obvious ways as far as a Gem would be concerned, and you failed to reciprocate. So of course she disappeared, she was embarrassed for having putting herself out there like that (the bf reference), the compliment. The "chill" was her thinking she came on too strong and didn't want to scare you, so she tried to play it cool. Oh boi.

Awwww dammit, if you're right, I'm so gonna be kicking myself for the rest of my life. This was a couple months ago, April 30th.
Last time I saw her, she asked me to meet her at a club, in which her "boyfriend" was the promoter. She seemed really hesitant compared to the last time before that & all of our convos were pretty much yelled over music. She cut her time in half between me & my friends and her BF and she was being A LOT more distant and less talkative than when I saw her earlier in the day. I pretty much just got sh*tfaced as fast as I could, said my goodbyes (she told me to call her), & left. That last text from her was the next day. I texted her in the morning asking if she got home OK and what is she doing after work. She replied apologizing 'cuz she thought I didn't having a good time and that she wanted to make it up to me and do something "chill" next time around. I told her to let me know when she's free. After that, I never got a response. I texted her a couple times asking if she wanted to do something and I was being specific about what we could do (Museum? Fashion show? DJ set? Shopping? Eat?) because I kinda had the idea that she'd get bored if I didn't have anything planned or we'd spend way too much time being indecisive, just like when I hang out w/ my Gemini friend: I'd have to make plans 'cuz then we'll just play phone tag until someone comes up w/ something. Nothing, nothing, nothing.
I'm hoping it's not too late but I figure it is. If it's not, I heard this weekend is supposed to be a climax of romance for Libra (Mars aligns w/ Venus in Libra on the 20th; Love & Action) and I figure I'll be bold, I don't normally throw caution in the wind + if it works out, I'd want her to come out for my birthday in September. Week 1
.....ok, so I surprised Ms. Gemini @ her work on Saturday. I decided not to go for the flowers because I felt maybe that would've been a little too forward since we're barely even friends, but me being Mr. Overanalyze wore a fitted yellow buffalo check shirt since I heard Gems are subconsciously attracted to yellow. I went in there, she saw me & her face lit up. She hugged me & immediately played the flattery game once again, complimenting me on how I smell, telling me "did I ever tell you back in school how much I always liked the way you dress?".....while she's standing there playing with my clothes and jewelry. We were doing a little catching up and she explained how she had to take a break from school. She mentioned that I didn't text her after the last time we saw each other and after I mentioned that I did, she immediately switched to asking what I'm doing that night. As soon as I was going to pretty much tell her how I feel, her mother comes to visit her at work. What I didn't know was that they both run the business and her mother & I ended up talking w/ her mother about fashion and business. I helped her move some equipment and fixtures into her car and said goodbye to her. Outside, Ms. Gemini totally read me; she told me I seemed really stressed and I had such a sad look to my face. She told me to call her if I needed anything and right when I was pretty much going to confess, she says she had to go but to call her that night and maybe we could meet up after our plans and "I don't know....you know.....".
Week 2
So we've been talking nonstop since that day until a few days ago. I was having a bad day @ work so I msg'd her if she could send me a picture of herself. She asked why & I said "I'm sorry, I'm having a bad day. I bet you look beautiful this morning so seeing you would make my day." She sent me a picture & she was absolutely....immaculate. She then asked if I'll send her one as well so I asked my boss to take a pic of me & sent it to her. I got a msg saying "You look good dressy. Actually I love all the ways you dress." Thank you, I'm sorry to hear that and I really hope your week gets better for you. I agree, talking every day nonstop was a little excessive. I really don't expect her to text or call me again. Last time she went cold on me, we didn't talk for a couple months & then just surprised her out of nowhere. Hey gemini guy here. was searching the web and came accross this page. here's some tips libra. what u did wrong with gem girl was, you didn't create any sexual chemistry with her. try flirting with her and TOUCHING her a bit more. like arms or something. i would advise u if she ever talk to you again. take her out to a BAR or lounge and buy her a couple or drink. then flirt and go from there. WILL WORK. i said bar or lounge because gems like going to places like these and meeting people. bars and lounge are fun and not boring. hope this helps

My best friend, who I've been friends with since the third grade, is a Gemini. Her and I are so in-tune with one another that frequently we'll laugh at something completely irrelevant together without having to utter a single word of explanation over what we're laughing at.
Or we'll just know what the other is talking about without that person having to say a thing.
Overall, Libras and Geminis just "get" one another.
It's difficult to explain, but it's definitely a dynamic that works because of how caring, empathetic, and intuitive each sign is. Not to mention just plain silly and eccentric!

This was a while back but thank you for the advice though. In fact, thank you all for the advice that you've given me. She already told me that she's into me but she really wants to get to know me more, despite our extremely busy schedules. Lately, I'd go toe-to-toe w/ her in the flirting department since she'd always initiate it & as soon as I flirt back, she'd stare at me for a while....then start pacing nervously, complaining that she's hot. I really dig her double-talk, I like how we can talk for hours on end about anything & it's never awkward, and I like surprising her & being unpredictable w/ her. I'm gonna see her this Thursday on my birthday; that's all I really want on my bday actually.
