If you are dating a guy, you know dates, staying over..how do you communicate the need for space without being offensive. I'm not against working up to spending most of the time together, but in the very early stages 0-6 months, why should I even need to hint that too much isn't a good thing. And then I feel bad (rightly or wrongly) because the guy gets offended and thinks i'm up to no good. So annoying, doesn't help that he is a moody/huffy Leo!
Let me give a hint to men interested in dating Libra women..we need maintain or sense of self at all times. Smothering isn't cool, necessary or sexy!!!

oh man if someone tells me they need space i back off completely. Maybe before you say anything choose your words wisely? Leos rule the heart so when we reeeaallyyy like someone they become our everything but it wont always be like that we are also very independent so just be careful what you ask for. i can be too much so i deff understand the need for space just be nice about it.
I know how ya feel. I don't care for needy guys or anything like that. But politely tell him that you have somethings going on that you need to take care of and need a little space. Maybe he'll understand.

I'm never rude about it, I simply say that I have lot of things to be done and that's the truth. But like I say, why doesn't he have things to be getting on with? He is Leo sun/Taurus moon/Scorpio ascendant, but basically he goes crazy over this minor detail and I told him I can't be arsed with it. It's against what I am as a person to deal with insecure, possessive, obsessive types....nah!

You don't tell them you show them. TAKE your space, you don't have to ask for it.

Smothered actually had a different meaning as
cover someone or something entirely with.
"rich orange sorbets smothered in fluffy whipped cream"
Which isn't bad at all!!!
