So you were right on cancer, what's your experience with capricorns?

depressive once you are done with imagination on what will happen with a Capricorn and begin to realize that they are the same you met 3 weeks ago and you changed a lot in that time.

Cancers and cappies are the worst match for libra for a long term relationship. They end up sucking up libras enthusiasm and energy slowly after the initial round of charming.

Cappies are cardinal signs. Means there will be always a friction on who runs the show and what decision to make. Because libra is indecisive(due to various factors), most times cappy will make a decision and drag libra into it. Which we hate but we follow it to avoid trouble. Then cappy is a total pessimist who simply cannot see good things in others. All they do is to find negative things and btch abt them. Libra cannot tolerate that. But cappy is helpful and libra will find that attractive initially. and cappy takes the charge and shy libra will consider that as an opportunity to be with someone by deluding himself/herself with all the positive aspects they can see in the cappy.
We need perfection and we keep trying to find faults with our partner. Normally we begin to do this only after the initial round. And very soon we will find loads of troubles with cappy(same goes for cancer). And we make it a point to mention them all. And cappy makes it a point to reject them all and always stick with his/her methods. We need to reinvent methods and things around us. Cappy want the same routine till they die.

read my posts. I recently got back with a Cap-ex, I thought his depressive moods, negativety and general coldness were just due to bad circumsatnaces, but its not - its just them. They tend to get really depressed about problems - I'd try to cheer him up but he'd either bring me down with him or shut me out completely.
Also - they tend to become very tight with money. The nice dinners and trips away stop once they think they have you. Not sociable at all, I thrive on being social with friends.
In the end, I had to drop him just to presever my own Libran happiness.

Hmmmm yes Cappys are the most depressive people I've ever met...I recently dated one and as lawyer82 said above re: bringing people down and the socializing? that's only good in the beginning and then you get stuck inside 4 walls with one heck of a depressed person who you need to constantly cheer up...argghhhh!!!!
But then again I am a Leo and us and Cappys??? a HUGE no-no!! Sooooooooooo depressing....they just truly suck the life out of you...RUN!!!!!

thelibran, you are such an ass, I swear -- to say that a cappy would cry and beg you not to leave them is laughable. That's the biggest load of garbage I've ever heard about a capricorn. We maybe disappointed and confused, but "cry", never, lol, never. It's the ones that break up with US that tend to be the bitter ones -- perfect example right here Winking

Your compatibility with any sign has alot to do with his/her chart. Don't listen to all the negativity about capricorn/ Libra pairings, go with what feels right.

Cappysweetie I didnt get anything out of a book....what I wrote is how it was...awesome at the beginning but as soon as he thought he had me, it all fell to pieces...the cracks appeared, the depression, the weirdness, the crying?? omg the crying??? jeeeeeeeeeeeeze....that's a girlie thing right? not a man thing....ewwwwww how terribly unattractive.

Psychological factors. Mainly insecurity, ignorance and fear. When I was happy with my ex scorp, i asked myself a major question - Is this the maximum amt of happiness i can attain? Or Am i just tolerating for the sake of being in a relationship?

On top of it, its your observations abt people. Which is earth perspective and quite shallow when it comes to human psychology. You dunno how to see things beyond the mask each people carry. There is this Cappy guy chasing me, and to tell you the truth, he's so much more socialable than I am. I am semi hermit next to him. But then I still prefer my Libby man.. we're in different countries (Me and Libra) and I went out with Cappy because he was so nice and I thought we could be friends. But he sorta told people I was seeing him and basically all that - he sure has designs which I am put off by.
If he had come to me as a friend, and not insist on playing house and talking marriage all the while sounding innocent, I may have considered him.

lol. To me astrology as defined by astrologist's is still a load of junk. They have so many screwed up ideas like "good luck", "fortune", "stars shining on you" and stuff like that. if you try to prove all those junk to scientific world, they would keep laughing at you and it would a continuous failure like how it has been forever. Existing field of astrology is a belief system and am not a moron to buy such junk about predictions without cause and reason properly explained. I only follow what can be observed repeatedly and recorded and can be proved if required. My idea of astrology stops at the point when it becomes irrational. Its a part of this universe and anyone who try to comprehend a natural law with some religious or cultural ideologies, is only making a fool out of themselves by mixing human perspective and natural law. We even have to consider the psychological dynamics of language and numbers while dealing with natural laws.
You can bring any no of people with mercury placed wherever and try to debate with a libra on a subject libra is familiar with and see how it goes and see for yourself. A virgo's logic is only true from his perspective. And its textbook logic. it falls short of perfection like everything else w.r.t a virgo. Sun plays the most important role, other planets are only subsets of sun's traits. Like small small subsystems running inside one. And all these happens inside your brain. Not some spooky mind or spirit or because of the good luck charm tattooed on ur bum cheek.
Lennon's first child was an aries and his mom was a virgo. he was already pissed off with her to begin with. Then on top of that, If you know how an Aries(polar opp of libra in methods and behavior) kid behaves till they are in their early 20's, any libra will feel like strangling him. With a bunch of nonsense educated from him a Virgo mom, am sure he was quite a mess while he was growing up. Dont judge someone without cross checking every single aspect of the situation. If he was well aware of the traits of Aries child, and how a libra gets annoyed with that, he would have been a better father. but that information was absent in this case.

Maybe Im starting to see a pattern here, the pattern of Libra sun sign HIPOCRISY, its funny that in this respect I had to think of John Lennon, who preached, and preached and preached about universal love and caring yet he neglected HIS OWN son for years and years, how pathetic is to have a father who you have only been able to see 10 times in about 10 years? Poor Julian Lennon had to go through that, and the reasons shallow John Lennon gave to justify this? He was too concerned about his image with his millions of female fans, cause that would deeply affect his popularity, right? This sounds like something only a shallow Libra would do. Cap's aren't bad people, its just there outlook and way of life is dramatically different to Libra. While, we both love the good life, Libra's actually live it, whilst Cap's are miserable in trying to obtain it - workaholic, negative, tight.

Yup. Cap's are not bad people at all. But for a libra, its friction. The friction and smoothness while 2 zodiacs interact is as important as their individual traits. Certain zodiacs will not be comfortable with each others traits and their understanding of each other will always conflict with their own idea of what is good and bad.

Sad to hear your relationship with capricorn went bad...I'm dating a capricorn now, so far so good, but is that what I have to look forward to...The only thing I can see now is a little possessiveness on his part but i'm trying to keep it in check...

LOL hurt heart its all ok...I just wasnt going to tolerate his mood swings (but having said tht, I KNEW Leo and Cappy would never work...its the one combintion of the zodiac that should NEVER hook up). Cappy was an amazing distraction from Libra and I knew that he would only be that (yes, whoever reads this may think that is unfair but I was upfront with him right from the start).
Everything was wonderful, we had a really great time and OMG this guy actually wanted to take me out, have fun and wasnt stuck behind a damned computer every single day and night scouring singles sites without doing anything with them....still cant work that out - never will, however, Cappy, once he got comfortable with the "relationship" he started making demands, took things for granted and the depression side of him came out.
Making demands and being possessive? that wasnt going to work with me this time...thanks to Libra, I learnt a lot of harsh lessons and I wont accept anything less than what Im truly looking for - I simply wont settle so a very big thank you to Libra.
Cappy and I will hopefully remain friends (we have been friends for almost 6 years and I do regret crossing that line now because, well we all know why....it almost always doesnt remain that way once a r/ship has been had).
Hurt Heart, I dont know where you are headed with a Capricorn but it is hard for a Leo to be "controlled" and these Cappys like to do so....we like to have fun, they like to drown themselves in sorrow....but doom and gloom all weekend is not my idea of a fun r/ship and its not conducive of a healthy life style . Enjoy this guy while its great but the first sign of moods/depression? well its up to you whether you can handle that but us Leos dont stay down for long...Cappys can be that way forever LOL. Yup. I dated two cappies and they both did this. I don't have as negative of a veiw on the Libra/Cap relationship though. Honestly the hardest part for both relationships was the height of the pedastal they put me on. In the second one it was endearing. We were from different sides of the tracks so to speak and I think she genuinely admired me and my character and I did with her as well but with that level of admiration usually comes a level of expectation that can't be satisfied. I felt really bad breaking up with the second one.
The first one was immature and liked playing games. I'm not saying that is because she was a Cap....we were both young and I attribute it to that.
Cancer....same kind of thing different way of going about it.

My libra friend has just gone through hell with a capricorn who freakin used him and admittedly said so. I feel bad for the guy. Their fights are horendous. My grandmother cappie and my grandfather libra .....fireworks all the time. *Sigh* They have been married for almost 60 years but trust me not a walk in the park. My suspicion why they stayed together is they were too afraid to leave a cozy co-dependent relationship. I will admit now that they have gotten older and got done cheating on one another, they really love one another a lot. They are like best friends. They even have their own rooms and are more like roomies than husband and wife. I will admit they still annoy each other from time to time and the fireworks still explode now and than. Grandfather hates my grandmothers spending addiction. Grandmother hates that grandfather is okay wearing his same old worn out clothes and content watching TV in his old age. Grandmother is very showy and materialistic. I think she still wants him to do back flips. There is genuine love between the two and it is sometimes sweet, but it is more friendship love not the passionate love as some people have if that makes sense.

I will say this much Libras make wonderful victims. Not sure if you all ever noticed this with Libras. But from my experience they make you feel sorry for their situations, they love being the victim.
i.e.
Libra friend and I are talking. Him and cappy completely done. He is depressed because he does not have a girlfriend for the summer. I told him "seriously dude ....you honestly want a relationship where all you do is fight." He is like addicted to the tension of this relationship it is madening.
Same with Libra guy I hooked up with. I adored the heck out of him and guess where he is ....back with the ex who he complained about how she treated him.
So as for understanding a libra ....you may be right. I don't understand the madness you all put yourself through. Especially when you have opportunities for something better.
I love the sweetness of libras, but I will never understand why they do this to themselves. I wrote this in another post, I believe the more tension, rejection, blah blah ...the more they work on balancing those scales. That is my theory.

Libra can get along with every zodiac if we want to. There is no question about it. But how happy we will be with each other zodiac is the question. We can even delude ourselves to think that we are happy. or adapt ourselves to match our partners character and find happiness. But does that create a truly happy libra? No. Everyones brain work seamlessly and in its most perfect state when they are surrounded with their matching zodiac group. Other zodiacs add a lot of friction into our thinking process when our brain encounters subtle negative gestures, judgmental perspective of partners/friends etc. For each one of those misunderstandings, our brain creates a "not to repeat again" memory module. And with time, we become insecure about our own capabilities and character and transform into a generic social being. But none of this would have happend if you were surrounded with same zodiac group people.
I made a good friend recently. One Gemini guy from Canada who works here. His dad, mom and sister are aquas and his brother is Aries. I always used to think gemini's lie and are not straight forward. But this dude surprised me. Way open and honest and straight forward with every damn thing. That's the difference people around you create in your character. Some help you retain your original nature. Some pollute it.

YESSS I LOVE THIS OLD THREAD! Gosh... I was with a capricorn for 4 years and finally left.. He was stifling.. Didn't trust me tried to make stay home all the time.. I just wanted to get out and socialize... My god I'm so thankful I finally got out. We faught all the time over everything.. He had no compassion or empathy.. What a mess... I would never ever recommend this pairing...
Now I'm talking to a cancer male and am starting to think I should just get out now after reading so many things on this board.. Of course I'm going to just see what happens I'm not going to use astrology as my reasoning for disappearing but so many things are dead on in the whole dance we are doing right now..
