Weaving With Words

Libra Girl made it back safe and sound from her ski trip--sounded a little down. I called her this afternoon to invite her to dinner. She said she was just thinking about calling me! (ONE OF THESE DAYS she will! Before I do!). So we planned to get together Saturday because of our crazy schedules.
And I sent her an e-mail: "Mist ya!"
(Kinda Libra humour, eh?)
Well, I thought that was pretty much it until Saturday BUT she called tonight and we talked for about 1/2 hour. SHE WANTED TO TALK. And seems HAPPY when we talk.
SOooooooo my question is: I believe women establish and strengthen their relationships with words. I call it "weaving with words" as in weaving a basket or something like that. Because it's like you women using conversations with guys to feel closer, more secure with them. 'Seems to be my experience in the past.
Guys seem to want their actions to speak louder than words to firm up the relationship, but women seem to want these conversations to feel secure and loved, etc.
What do you think?
Well IMO, good communication is the foundation of a true relationship...if you can't talk with one another about, ummm..let me see, ok..EVERYTHING, then what's the point? Of course, the more you talk the closer you are going to become.
Talking with a person you have strong feelings for connects you on a deeper level...I dunno...but I LOVE talking smile and I would find it so difficult if my partner couldn't talk....he wouldn't last long LOL
But I've noticed with my Libra HE likes to talk as much, if not MORE than me!!! He seems to crave it and I guess we all have to remember that he lives alone and spends his nights alone on chat.....yeah well what can I say? he's lonely but he should pick up the phone sometimes rather than text or chat online...I'd love it if he'd surprise me with that sometime!!! Actually I'd probably become nauseous seeing his name on an incoming call!!! Tongue
So Atom, does the "weaving with words" work?? or would you rather just get it on?? LOL
Actually probably best you don't answer that Winking
oh and that's great that she was thinking about calling...you ARE important to her
Thank you, dear Chatz. So what's wrong with the answer, "Both." (Regarding weaving with words AND getting it on / getting it on while weaving with words / weaving on and on / getting with words). Urp.
Ummmm nuffink....ummm...could be fun Tongue
Actually "weaving with words" and "getting it on" is a lot of fun!!
I KNOW you'll be doing BOTH-------soon!!, Chatz!
