Can't find a connection ....

There is no question in my mind about two different occurrences .... yet, they seem to be in contrast of each other.

I know for a fact that spirits, or ghosts, as they were, exist .... and I know that soul's reincarnate into beings to live in the physical world over and over.

But, these two seem to contradict each other in my mind.

Ghosts, that I've witnessed 30 years ago ... are still in spirit form today.

Is there a time-frame in which they have to remain in spirit form before jumping in during conception?

Yet, there are prodigy children who can state their past lives, that were just a few years ago .. not quarter of centuries or even longer.

My mind cannot reason out the process for both of these to exist simultaneously

As long as I know I'm pointed in the right direction I don't much care how long it takes to get there.

I'm seriously considering an option that came to me a couple years ago, that is likely the valid explanation .... however, my Fishiness has to contemplate this long and hard before making a decision.

Not only do I know that ghosts exist on the earth plane .... I also know that there are spirits in the clouds. And I may be convinced that a person ascending goes no further than that.

At any rate ... my mission on this topic is attempt to assess if the ghosts that appear here on the earth plane are different from the ones in the clouds.

Is it possible that hell on earth, or spirit in the sky .... is actually, your soul either goes to the clouds to watch and wait for reincarnation, or stays on earth to live eternity in the hells of never being able to "live" again.

I can't sort it out ... my sister was a Christian to dying breath, she praised her god for her entire being, faithfully ... yet, she has been seen in ghost form several times. So, this means that she did NOT ascend, she isn't in the sky ... she's living on the earthly hell.

Probably for the rest of my life (this lifetime) ... this question will be upon me.

Hmm, maybe those ghosts that don't reincarnate actually can't do so because they have a lesson or two to learn and it can only be assimilated in that state.

I remember reading somewhere about souls watching over us from above. They don't reincarnate anymore, instead they become a higher level of being.

I think that there things we are just not meant to know. Not until we are ready.

Spirits are free. Ghosts are tied to this plane if that makes sense.

Wow, sorry I missed this subforum (and this thread)! Anyway, I agree with what Starlover has said. Also, it's not that spirits are in some far off place. No, they're all around us, it's just that as they evolve/ascend (and it is a gradual process, and the time frame on that varies among souls), the differences between their frequencies and ours can make it harder for them to communicate with us. For instance, you maybe experiencing the spirit of a loved one in a very intense way (see/feel/hear them), and/or it maybe on a frequent/constant basis, but it some point that may begin to wane. The experiences may decrease in intensity/frequency, and/or you may start to get communication more through signs (songs, numbers, etc.). It's not that the souls have gone anywhere, but that they have become higher/lighter in frequency, thus it can be more difficult for them to communicate with those still incarnate. At least that is what seems to be the case to me. It's also dependent on how accessible you are (which ties into those frequencies...), and how you tend to receive messages (as not everyone has the same sensitivity in the same areas).

Ex. You may not be as accessible to a spirit because you may still be grief stricken, thus your emotions are blocking you, because they are heavy, thus lowering your frequency. Or perhaps you are just simply under a lot of stress and are having difficulty unloading those energies, it has the same effect...You may think they're not around, and wonder why they're not communicating with you, when in fact they are, it's just that you're not in a place to receive them. Likewise, if you are receiving them (and you can see them), it doesn't have to mean that they are "stuck" here. Sometimes they're around you simply because they want to be...Because they love you and have a genuine interest in your life...They may also have messages they want to pass along. They may have things they want to resolve with you (or through you if you simply acting as a medium for another), and/or they may still have lessons to learn with you (and sometimes through you), or even to teach you...

As far as psychic sensitivity, well some maybe able to see spirits (and energy imprints), while others feel and hear them, and still others may experience them through dreams and visions. These are all skill sets that will vary in strength between individuals.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Also, the intensity of spirit communication will also depend on the type of bond/connection you have with that spirit. Examples would be twin flames/divine complements/guides, soul mates, members of your soul family (which aren't necessarily members of the blood family you have/had here on earth...). My most intense, significant bond by faaaaarrrr, has been with my divine complement, who is now my guide. Unfortunately, we never got to be together when he was incarnate...

I have seen glimpses of my past life. Has anyone else? What I glimpsed, I was able to confirm in my chart.

Cause what lesson did we learn to be here now? Do you feel like a pro in this life?

I suspect when lessons are learned, you may be done reincarnating.

I was some priestess caste out of somewhere looking like "Atlantis." My husband is tied to my past life in away that explains his dedication now. I have not fully reconciled this knowledge spiritually.
