Reincarnation

This topic was created in the Metaphysical forum by ATGR on Thursday, May 25, 2023 and has 20 replies.
1. Do you believe in reincarnation?

2. Do you think that reincarnation means being a different form of life or different person than you are now?

3. If you were reincarnated as yourself again over and over would you want to be reincarnated?
On question 3 I’m asking if you could only come back as you are now would you still want to.

What are your thoughts @ATGR 🙃?

I hope not, once is enough.

What if you get to come back as a cat who eats and sleeps all day? 😺

If it would be different outcomes then yes. If you would be reliving your same life over and over again then no, that's just boring.

All the animals are dieing and getting replaced by humans. You're going to reincarnate as a human and most likely in the 3rd world. Unless you're a bug, then you're either going to die in a few weeks and reincarnate as a human anyway or live underground as a grub for 15 years and then get 1 day in the sun to maybe fuck and then die. Everyone thinks they're gonna reincarnate as a snow leopard or a hummingbird.

I don't mind being an animal, but no bugs please😂 sure it would be shortest life time but I just don't like majority of them😬 oh well, I live almost like in a 3rd world anyway, so no change or improvement huh? We're supposedly 2nd world lol but doesn't seem so

You're not likely to get to be a cool animal. Maybe a feral cat or sparrow or something would be the best deal. There's like 40,000 lions left in the wild so that's just not happening. Imagine being reincarnated into a zoo or as a dairy cow lol. Statistically if you end up being human again it's most likely gonna be worse than where you're at now. I don't know where you live but it's probably way better than Africa, India or China. People live pretty miserable lives in most of the world.

I think I wouldn't mind being an ant. Their teamwork puts humans to shame, imo. 🤔

I don’t think it’s living the same life over and over. I think the scenarios repeat themselves but you have a choice how to deal with it

I always said if I'm not a human I would love to be a seagull. There's tons of them so chances are good😂 I wouldn't care for being some cool animal tbh. Birds are my prefered choice but among them I'd pick seagulls. Dairy cow would be the worst lol You're right that there are way worse places to be born at, I can't argue with that for sure. That's one thing I always think about when people who have everything available complain about something trivial - how some people have so very little and still manage to be happy with their lives. Sometimes I get flashbacks that seem like from past life, but not too long time ago. For some reason I feel like I lived in Paris in that life and since I was a child I always loved french language and Paris was a dream city to me. Been there once, can't say I was too impressed but it still felt somewhat like I was home. I know it may sound like bs, cause who wouldn't like to be from some great city, but that's just my inner feeling and I always had high intuition about many things.

You know what? It might not be so bad. If you get the worst case scenario like where you die within a few weeks, then you can come back as something better. Anything other than that is already a step up. It might not as good as right now but you know, "could be worse". 😀
I don't believe in it. I like the idea of spirits sticking around to watch over or help in some way.

I've heard that in a family, when an old person dies as a new baby is born, that family member is reincarnated into the baby, but that's as far as I've thought about it.

We are all animals, so we can come back as anything, I suppose.

I wouldn't mind being myself again, I know there are worst fates out there.
My own response disappeared! I’m not reincarnating it.
1. Do you believe in reincarnation?

I don't know, this one is tough

2. Do you think that reincarnation means being a different form of life or different person than you are now?

I think it means a different person.

3. If you were reincarnated as yourself again over and over would you want to be reincarnated?

I don't mind looking the same but I would like to be placed in a different environment just to experience and learn something new if I have that choice.

What are your thoughts on this?
I personally don't in ways. I see existing as this whole embodiment that is you. Like imagine yourself as a giant existing in the universe. The you living now is just a fragment of your actual self. Which much like the universe your actual self just wants to experience existence. Which I feel we all are experiencing all at once. The only thing is we are afraid to just let the timeline end, and go on to something new. Which is why we are all sad, depressed, and antisocial. We want to fix things in a timeline that can't be fixed, so rather then moving on we live this same timeline over and over. Even though we've experienced the best timelines the universe can offer. We are addicted to this personal timeline because it's the only one we can't change anything in, and can truly never get actual closure. Because of that we cant accept reincarnation. Because we simply can't get over the emotional drama from this timeline.
I’ve realised I reincarnate the same threads every 6 - 12 months. Looping patterns of thought.
