Everyone has eyes that change colors, our eyes to some extent reflect what is around them such as our clothes also lighting comes into play. The color change is more noticeable in lighter eyes but isn't exclusive to any one person.
Interesting... Mine change by my mood though. They go real green when I cry or if im upset.

I like eyes.. ?

My eyes are fairly light blue and look different shades of blue in different light, or sometimes green apparently. I've been asked if I wear coloured contacts when I have a tan thanks to how light my eyes can look in contrast - surreal I guess.

Stunning! I'm a sucker for blue eyes, especially the piercing ones like what you described ?

I've been happy about my eyes, even when I was my most self conscious I liked that part of myself at least. :-)

This is totally true; however, this only covers perceived eye color changes. There are some factors such as Age, Melanin, Nutrition/Diet, and Health which can alter our eye color on a physiological level.

Yes, you are correct. I was focusing on temporary shifts as that seems to be what the op is focusing on.

The comparison is kind of misleading though. In the second image her iris muscle is in a relaxed state due to the lower levels of lighting, so her pupil is much larger which means the stroma isn't being pulled as tightly. I'm sure it's true the pigmentation isn't as vivid as it once was though.

Yes the image is misleading for those purposes but sadly the woman is living in a rather desolate area and there's not a lot of images to pick of her. I can try and find the documentary on them tracking her down if you want? You can see the color change better in the actual documentary.

Lol, no no. I wasn't trying to say that I didn't believe you, so you don't have to find the documentary. Thank you though.

Also, I was being nosy and reading some of the other things going on and though you may find this image to be of interest.

It's talking about where the melanin presents itself within the structure and how it's seen taking light refraction into consideration.

The images are interesting, especially grey eyes since the collagen structure is coarse. Thanks for including those!

"I didn't think you were saying you didn't believe me lol."

Sometimes I don't always come across clearly so I just wasn't sure if this was one of those times. Since it wasn't I'll be honest and say I'm that kind of nerdy and love me some randomness, so I was probably going to look that documentary up at some point (in the near future) out of interest anyway. haha.

No worries, I recently messaged someone for that exact reason haha! Let me know if you ever want me to hunt the documentary down for you.

Does that work? haha

Yeah there's different lighting with all.

Due to my laptop being stolen though a lot of pictures I took of myself I've lost.

And I never really taken pictures of myself when I have cried or been upset..

this is the best I can do.

I've had to crop all of them as I dont exactly want to post my whole face all over the net lol

I should use my pro camera over the following week to get more accurate images of my eyes.

The expression change but not my eye color :/ they are black by the way

I would trade my eye color for blue or hazel eyes or even grey seriously
Show me your eyes? ?

I bet they sparkle and look mysterious... ?
Hahaha they don't
I can't see the eye very well.

I'm sorry it's not a feature you like on yourself though. My mum has very dark brown eyes (black) and they sparkle..

A Taurus male friend of mine has dark eyes as well and his have a sparkle too them as well xo
Oh no i like them ^^ just the color it's too banal for my taste

Mine sparkled when i was a child but now nothing

Oh okay ☺️☺️ that's good!

Yes I've noticed that many peoples eyes dim as they get older.

I never wanted my little ones eyes to dim! Oh he had the most vibrant blue and BIG eyes as a bub! they were huge!

His eyes are still big but the colour has changed to almost a navy blue colour.
