Yep, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado with more states to come. Colorado had a head start on the other two. Ore. and WA are still working out the kinks.


It's better in Colorado than it is in Amsterdam now..and cheaper.

Be carefull, it is illegal to smoke on the streets in Amsterdam! Other than that, have fun! If Abraxas coffee shop is still opened, check it out


Edit: I actually went to double check and it seems it is legal? I dont think it was when I lived there. At least it was frown upon by the locals.

Then i smoked in Berlin. Even better.

Can you smoke in public in CO?

Not technically.


But there are chocolates, gummies, soda, peach rings, cookies etc. that are pretty easy to conceal and just pop in. No one can tell the difference. People smoke on their decks and everywhere outside so it's just a matter of being discreet. A joint on the street would probably be fine too..just as long as there aren't any kids around or in a high traffic area where an officer might see you..where they would be forced to do something if someone complained. I've actually never heard of someone getting busted on the street. They want to look the other way if at all possible because it's good for tourism and the economy. That's why I'm surprised more states haven't done it..it's a huge cash windfall for the state.

I liked Europe. I went to UK, Iceland, Brussels, Brugge, Amsterdam and Berlin.


I envy some of Europe's cultures, food, and activities. Especially Amsterdam. Biking is serious over there. More bikes than cars.


Ppl also dress better, eat better, more tolerant.

Don't know if I'm making sense because I've never smoked but it sounds about right to me. But again, I don't know.

If anything, somebody high while driving would brake a little earlier since their depth perception would be a bit off, make complete stops because they'd be afraid of getting pulled over, & would be too paranoid to drive recklessly since they'd think they're gonna hit anything & everything.

I don't know. I drove and thought red was green and green was red. My friend wasn't too happy with me

Anyways, thank goodness I moved to Rotterdam. Amsterdam has become a parody of itself, used to live there up until 3 weeks ago.
