Plus Sudan and Somali are not even on the 10 most violent countries list. That list consists of mainly Hispanic and Middle Eastern countries.

China is a huge country and there are many differences between regions, for example shangai is at least on the same level as western cities by most aspect, but yeah the majority of china is filthy disgusting.
A lot of the chinese in the central areas have a terrible hygiene, I've seen people defecating on the side of the street and one of the favorite passtimes is to spit on the floor in the middle of the restaurant until there is a small puddle of spit in the center of the room it's a cultural thing apparently.
I was at (one of ) the famed shaolin temple and there was human feces strewn all over the court were some of the students were living and training because in many places toilets are still a luxury apparently.

I'm not saying that all ethnic chinese people are dirty, but a lot of the peole living in china are

China is horrifying in terms of pollution. And it's not all just about government, but society's innaction as well. There's no lack of education about the harms of pollution here, but when Ms. Liu gets done drinking her sprite, do you think she's gonna put it in the trash can? Naw, she's gonna throw it out the car window. People don't care about each other here. They care about themselves and their families/friends, but definitely not about their neighbors. If folks aren't willing to help an old lady up when she falls down then they sure as hell aren't going to help clean up after themselves.

I wish everyone can be educated about their own culture and heritage and not simply go through historical events in chronological order in school curriculums coz that's how self-image gets all screwed up 😢 I dislike that American books focus so much on the forefathers and civil war instead of also focusing on the history of African-Americans as well as all the other sizable immigrants that made up their nation.

We actually have books like that. The only thing though is learning of our own history and heritage isn't apart of the main course until like you enter high school. Even then my mom's african american and she gladly teaches me of our heritage. I know we're descended from West Africa. Possibly Nigerian or Liberian. When it comes to things like this, family is probably the best reference and go to for ethnical history

You didn't need to go there. My history blurry, if my mom knew well enough she would've told. She knows my family on her side got enslaved hell her great grandmother was a slave. This has nothing to do about acceptance CC, I'm just stating the best reference for your own ethical history as it seems like schools are too stupid to teach it. Don't make me part of the problem because I'm not, slavery will never be forgotten and my mom resents a lot of white people til this day for it and treating the rest of African Americans like shit during the 100 year gap. She grew up in the 50's so she's knows this well, I don't discuss this much with her because I don't want to get her started. I know who I an, I'm my own character and I define myself not my race.

I see your point and I believe they should, but the most we ever get are college classes that actually teach about that. Hell at RCC they have a class dedicated to Black History. I know a few that may have Hispanic history as well. I do agree that it maybe a land of the free but it aint so free. If I wanted real freedom, I'd live on a an abandoned island

I think you should have really made that thread all about what you like in black culture. That could've been a really cool thread. You started tossing up "crackheads with swag though"...lol.

Its sad on one level that impoverished people, or even addicts, are being used the way they are in these arguments though. I spent a lot of my youth in Philadelphia and when I used to drink heavily, I'd be on my way back from a bar or a friends place, and I would always wind up hanging out with the homeless, and yes, even crackheads. I found them to be some of the kindest, most sincere, and often even wisest people I've ever met. There were nights where I would stay out until the sun came up in a center city park, just sitting there listening to a homeless person's story. It was amazing what some of these people had been through, and how cool and funny they still were.

A person addicted to, or on crack, can be one of the most honest/transparent/sincere individuals you've ever encountered in your life.
