Would you go out with someone your friend turned down because they where short but thought you should talk to
Yes! If you want to

Also..

Why put this on the Misc board, when you also put it on the relationship board.. where it belongs?
I saw the relationship tab after I had posted this. So I put it where it belongs.
Omg do you still turn people down for their height?
Posted by Rozaeon
No
Why not just curious?
Like short in stature? Absolutely. I love short girls, and idiot friends dumb enough to turn them down.

Because some people just like to type irrelevant answers...

Nevermind it.

Do what you feel like. And think about friend...do you need her?

5'9 is not short for a male. Your question is also directed at each individual poster, so each case will be different. In my case, it's what would I do if a friend of mine turned down someone who is too short. I don't date men so that just leaves the females Winking

Nah my friends have shitty taste in men
Nope....to me it'd be too weird to talk to her about him and in the back of her head she's thinking he went to you only because she turned him down first. But I guess it's truly up to you because once you get over that initial awkwardness then you may be fine after that.
If it truly seemed promising that I might hit it off with them, sure.

I'm just under 5'1. The shortest man I dated was ~ 5'4, the tallest 6'4.

If I thought they were charming and attractive and my friend didn't mind, sure. Depends how short though. I'm 5'9" and think it would be difficult if she was under 5'3" plus I don't want short kids
these days boys and girls grow a lot taller due to all the bioengeneered food even when their parents aren't tall at all. I know two couples whose boys are already between 6ft and 6'3 at age of 14, 16 and 17 while their dads are like 5'7 or 5'8 tall.

But I have read that the food contains higher estrogen levels, which makes the boys become more feminine

That's actually interesting to know. I never actually dug around into it. My dad is 5'6" and my mom is 5'4" or 5'5". All my siblings are taller than my parents with my older brother being 5'11" and me originally being 5'10" but somehow I shrunk to 5'9" now. Fortunately none of us are effeminate. It could be from my mom's genetics that we have height. Her older brothers are 5'9"-5'11"

How would you shrink unless you got a back surgery or something like that?

Yeah 5'11 for your older brother is a lot considering your parent's heights.

My friend turned down a guy because of his height but she wants me to talk to him
Posted by nanobyte
No... they are obviously interested in your friend. That's why she turned him down, and then tries to pass him on to you? I don't think so.

Why would I want to talk to a guy who's interested in my friend lol.

I have too much pride for that.

I'd need to be a first choice~~
That's how i feel too she's really pressuring me to talk to him though and I don't know why,, I don't want to be an option first choice or no choice

Lol. No, I understood the OP. I meant as soon as I read "your friend", it would be an automatic "no" for me.

Why is she pushing you to talk to him? Sounds....off.

Oh,, and I don't know I told her I didn't like him and I wouldn't respond to him if she gave me his number but this is day 2 and she's still talking about it. Not to mention he's still texting her.
