Do people still drink alcohol?

Whenever someone invites me to go drinking it’s always a gen x guy taking maintenance meds and flared gout.

Sho people still drink alcohol no doubt. A lot of people over here where I'm at can't handle their alcohol the hilarious virgo neighbor of mines is definitely one who can't handle it. I can't see how alcohol make some people go ape shit wild and when I tell people alcohol mellows me out it's like they don't believe me. I can handle mines. The weed they make this day and age ain't like the good stuff we gen x's smoked in our days. They can't even handle that.

Wine in Italy and France

Beer in England, Belgium, Germany

Pub culture in England, Ireland

I notice everyone drinks Mai tai in Maui and aperol spritz in Italy (probably a tourist thing idk)

I think Eastern European/Russian consume a lot of hard liquor in comparison

In the US, bars are generally seen as for younger folk (college aged) and it’s often tacky, reeking of bad dance or rap music played much too loudly and the air is abuzz with almost a predator feel, like always seeking potential sexual encounters with randos. I didn’t feel this same vibe in other places so much. But other bars can have different vibes. Like I knew of some lesbian bars or nerdy bars with pin ball or gaming systems for gamers, and other special interests

My digestive system doesn't like alcohol anymore. So I have to cut back whether I like it or not. Sometimes I like being a lightweight when I get there though.

I know beer garden type places but they’re groups

I went out drinking last night, all hard stuff. I only got 3.5 hours of sleep.

I was drinking a 5th of rum every single night for the last 5 years. That's 16 shots, and roughly 1600 calories a day. On top of that I didn't care about my health or hygiene, and eating garbage while feeling like actual death daily. Unless I was drinking or blacked out that is.

I literally had to quit, and could feel my entire body shutting down. I can't even have a single drink at this point or I'll instantly relapse. The way I feel now is incredible. I feel like I can actually speak to coworkers and people in society without feeling like I forgot how to form a sentence. My ability at work has also greatly improved. Mentally and physically towards the end there I was unable to think or work at even half capacity.

I'll always eat edibles on occasion. I'll smoke cannabis on on even rarer occasion, but I really dislike smoking ever since I quit tobacco years ago. It just kills my lungs, sometimes for days. I do like to hit a bong every now and then though.

I don’t really drink but if I do enjoy sake. Because I can drink like 1 oz and feel a nice body buzz and not have a hangover the next day.

Ugh I mildly dislike goths

The Aries I went out with last year was an emo/goth fashion enthusiast

She had bangs and wore all black and glasses

I think they’re my opposite fashion wise and maybe personality too

I like cocktails, vodka, tequila, wine and beer.
