i agree with mark zuckerburg. perhaps the way he went about his personal relationships was fucked up..but as the topic..

i say no. its like how many "chocolate chip" cookies are there? the only difference is some may add white chocolate or sprinkles. but are they not all the same? to say that he stole an idea that was never created is absurd. its not his fault the other guys didn't have the extra skills mark z. had to create it. If it was their site why wasn't it done?

Bill Gates stole Windows, Mark Zuckerberg stole Facebook.. and some fucker stole Snuggies from ME! 😉

Like Bri said... stole? How do you STEAL an IDEA? 6, 7 billion people on the planet.. 2 or more people are bound to have the same idea about how to fix or improve an issue, an item, or our lives (including our virtual lives haha.) First one to MAKE it a reality, market it, patent it (that's WHY there's a such thing!), sell it, and get rich.. that's the winner. The rest can go cry into their beer and piss and moan about "thieves" and how they got ripped off, missed out on the millions and billions of big saweet dollahs!

He agreed to help build their site, but in the months that followed, set up his own site. His friends that wanted him to help with ConnectU did nothing in the mean time. They didn't do anything to contribute to Facebook.

But what you really have 2 understand is that there is absolutely zero value in any idea now these days. No idea that anybody has ever had has been worth anything if u really think about it. Hundreds of people everyday have the general idea of a social networking site. Myspace had already made that idea very successfully. Many people who dream of making it big believe that all u need is a great idea. That is complete nonsense to the fullest I believe. There is no such thing as a great idea. What you really need is great EXECUTION.

Those ConnectU guys had been trying to gain millions of dollars just because they could claim credit for putting the idea into Zuckerberg's head ! LMFAO ! They are talentless losers who could never have achieved anything with their own website. Instead they became leeching off the achievements of someone who was actually good enough to make Facebook into something.

From his Harvard classmates ? I just finished watching the movie. Wondering what everyone else thinks ?

No, Mark Z perfected his own idea. Tyler & Cam Winklevoss came during his upstart. He didn't need them (funding of ingenious ideas comes readily/eventually) They needed him.
Mark did however screw his best friend Eduardo.

Facebook is worth approximately $ 70 billion & sucks...

I agree, I was just thinking something similar myself. Another couple of guys could've just as well had an equally great idea that was almost the same but who's to say they would've lifted it off??
There is a talent to making valuable business relationships with the right contacts and the balancing everything out that needs to be done when it comes to making an idea a reality. The hard work is being rewarded too, not just the thought.
