They didn't steal anything. They took an idea and made it their own. Get over it. Boo-fucking-hoo.

He agreed to help build their site, but in the months that followed, set up his own site. His friends that wanted him to help with ConnectU did nothing in the mean time. They didn't do anything to contribute to Facebook.
But what you really have 2 understand is that there is absolutely zero value in any idea now these days. No idea that anybody has ever had has been worth anything if u really think about it. Hundreds of people everyday have the general idea of a social networking site. Myspace had already made that idea very successfully. Many people who dream of making it big believe that all u need is a great idea. That is complete nonsense to the fullest I believe. There is no such thing as a great idea. What you really need is great EXECUTION.
Those ConnectU guys had been trying to gain millions of dollars just because they could claim credit for putting the idea into Zuckerberg's head ! LMFAO ! They are talentless losers who could never have achieved anything with their own website. Instead they became leeching off the achievements of someone who was actually good enough to make Facebook into something.
I agree, I was just thinking something similar myself. Another couple of guys could've just as well had an equally great idea that was almost the same but who's to say they would've lifted it off??
There is a talent to making valuable business relationships with the right contacts and the balancing everything out that needs to be done when it comes to making an idea a reality. The hard work is being rewarded too, not just the thought.click to expand
