Anywhooo - there is a guy that works there (he's a manager of the store). He's got that sexy swag and looks like an ad from a scruffy J. Crew/Eddie Bauer. He's an ex-Marine (which I recently found out). So, I'll just throw out the comments he's made to me over the course of the last like 6 weeks (paraphrasing since I'm not a tape recorder, and can't remember line for line):
"Hey lady, I haven't seen you for awhile, miss seeing you."
"Glad to see you are working here today, the store is a lovelier place when you are here."
Always compliments my hair, clothes, how tall I am, etc. He asked me what I was doing for New Years' Eve. We talked about Corporate America and the crappiness that it is...but how he loves the store/company that he works for now. He's super tall, so he tells about scaring and intimidating people.
He recently has started to sit down and chat with me for a few moments. He'll check to see if I am on the phone or not (because sometimes I plug my earphones into the computer and listen to music as I work, and he can't tell if I'm on the phone or not). He's also started to "touch me" (giggles - sorry, I'm so immature sometimes) on my shoulder or back when he passes by me when he's upstairs, because that's where the tables and everything are, and the store part is downstairs. I don't know what the deal is, because most times the guys I know are pretty straight forward and I know EXACTLY what they want (cause' I want the same thing 😉 ). He's not shy at all though. Also, he told me has a daughter, but made a point of saying that his daughter is w/the mother but he gets weekends with her. And of course we talk about sports -- that's my thing.
I'm used to more forthright people, and I'm probably just reading too much into it anyway. I think it may be a familiarity thing since I'm always there.
Anybody who has been on this board for any length of time on the Taurus board will know I'm a huge commitphobe, but I do have needs...I just recently moved states, and ummm, yeah...I'm delving into the realm of TMI now! LOL!
So, thoughts??
