Posted by ChalupaWhat has Trump said or done that is racist?Posted by AnOdeToNoOneRegardless, it's too late for him to make inroads with them. He polls very low with them anyway, so reaching out to them now is a lost cause.
He is trying to spend time with minority races, and the TV people cut the cameras on him.
Do you find the behavior of the TV people acceptable conduct in terms of responsible journalism?
My concern with Trump is that he doesn't know anything about policy. The fact that he's racist AF doesn't help him much outside of his core/base of voters. Even educated Republicans can't stand him.
I have a feeling, even Trump knows he's gonna lose and is angling for book deals, TV specials etc after the election.click to expand
Posted by fugu2Lol our four father's told us, don't have a left wing/right wing party system. But we ignored them America is the best nation I swear.
You (general you) don't have to vote for Shillary just because you dislike Trump.
I'm voting for Gary Johnson myself. If more people would vote for who they truly thought was the best candidate of them all (rather than "of the two"), we wouldn't be stuck in this 2-party corrupt nightmare.

That's fine, Fugu2.
I am trying to figure out why people give any credibility to the TV, news and other media "journalists" in the mainstream.
The Reuters people literally said, "cut the camera" while Trump was having a touching moment with members of a prominent minority race church and their leadership.
We have TV agents literally disallowing the truth from being broadcast, and instead we see nothing but the pathological liar Hillary Clinton being propped up in bogus polls and other TV stories.
Posted by AnOdeToNoOneI find it disgusting as well. I don't even own a TV (partially because mainstream media pulls these types of stunts with anything that goes against their agenda). Instead, I learn about candidates from their own sites + a diverse range of online sources (particularly non-North American sources, since they're *less* likely to be in bed with any of the candidates).
That's fine, Fugu2.

You are vomiting garbage all over the board at this point.
-chants "we're building a wall!" at his rallies.
-reports are coming out that he avoided doing business with black folks in his earlier dealings.
-called children born to illegal aliens "anchor babies"
-he tweeted false statistics about African Americans.
-called Elizabeth Warren "Pocohantas"
It's fine if he's a private citizen, he has a right to express himself how he wants. When running for office, he becomes a public figure. That sort of rheteric turns people off.
And don't get me started on how he flip flopped when going down to Mexico to meet with the Mexican President.
Anyway, if u support the guy, that's your right. If u think this "outreach towards minorities" is genuine, then you're probably dense.click to expand

Am I the only one who doesn't care who wins? I highly doubt either of them will interfere with daily cocktails, a nice dicking, or frequent trips to Bath & Body Works.

I'm not sure if you're American, but we're all forced to have health insurance (obamacare) or we have to pay a penalty of our income that rises every year. What's pathetic is the monthly premiums are ridiculously expensive, my family wastes over $ 12,000 a year and we're on a damn copay plan which still means we have to pay out of pocket. So basically before Obamacare, only like my dad would have medical expenses, nobody else in the family... which was less than a few thousand bucks, so yeah, I don't know who the hell Obamacare benefits, but it's definitely not the average household. Hillary won't be changing it once she's elected, while the Republicans are against it. Wasting $ 12,000 every year on something that you're forced to enroll in regardless of how healthy you are is beyond fucked up. You are welcome to respond. I'm interested to know how Obamacare has affected/benefited others.click to expand

I have private insurance.
I personally would review the policy and shop around. I hope it's tax deductible.click to expand

You're lucky. I don't think you're able to get privately insured anymore unless you were already prior to ACA. If anyone knows, let me know. I'm highly annoyed. Wasted assets and opportunities. I could have another car by now. I'm not sure why but my parents just never bothered with health insurance before Obamacare because we'd just pay out of pocket if we needed anything. And nope, not tax deductible. It's literally been implemented for insurance companies to make insane profits on a 1000% margin.
Just for that garbage, I'd want Trump president. But it's not as if he'd be able to significantly do much to change it right away.click to expand

I figured those are good protective measures for the long-term. I'm still in the process of learning about their benefits and understanding good policies. first I wanna say that obamacare in theory was a good idea! ...it was just poorly executed...mitt romney was going to do the same thing ...I mean step by step...it was in his 5 point plan he kept bragging about lol
you asked about the benefits
• Cost assistance is available to individuals, families and small businesses through the Health Insurance Marketplace.(the problem is you have to fall right with in a certain income range to receive assistance even if you fall below the required income range the gov. won't help you it is one OF THE BIGGEST COMPLAINTS OF OBAMA CARE)
• Medicaid eligibility is expanded in 26 states to 138% of the federal poverty level giving millions of Americans access to healthcare.
• Large employers must offer coverage to full-time workers by 2015/2016----I so glad that companies are now REQUIRED TO COVER their employees
• No annual or lifetime limits on healthcare.---I work for a large insurance company and I'm soooo glad they got rid of this bullshit ...ex: insurance caps your policy 35000 in medical expense for the lifetime...meaning if you get cancer and your medical expense cost 100,000 the insurance would NO LONGER PAY OUT ANYTHING
• All major medical insurance is guaranteed issue, meaning you can’t be denied coverage for any reason.----yes insurance used to pull this bullshit too...oh you have diabeties DENIED...you have AIDS DENIED ...you have CANCER DENIED --insurance companies can no longer deny you for ANY REASON!
• You can’t be charged more based on health status or gender.---ladies used to be charged more ..(cause of maternity benefits this no longer applies)
• Insurance companies can’t drop you when you are sick or for making a mistake on your application.---can you imagine being sick and your insurance company DROP you cause you make a typo on your application
• You can’t be denied coverage for pre-existing conditions.---this use to happen a lot too...insurance would cover you but not for a "pre-existing condition" meaning if you had asthma and you went to get a new job and insurance the new company wouldn't cover any hospital stays or medicine related to your asthma
• The 80/20 rule and rate review provision help to keep insurers honest and keep rates down.
