Hey fellow Deexpuhs, hope you’re all doing good in these uncertain times - hey, we made it this far! Look at us! Still here still thriving and posting and I love that for us!

For others like many of you probably know, life has not been that easy…

An old friend from here, Metalaquamonkey, an Aquarius w Leo moon and a big heart has been fighting the big fight - cancer.

I’m just going to drop the link here and listen, there is absolutely no pressure to contribute -none at all -but even just to keep her in your thoughts, prayers, notes to self and the Universe, whatever your jam is my dears.

She’s a fantastic human on a difficult journey but I’m sure she’s going to succeed at this no matter what!

That's so unfortunate... They are truly a great person with a good spirit. They were one of the only members that would actually message me asking me how I was feeling, or wishing me happy a birthday. Thanks for the update wag, I truly hope for the best 🙏

Oh that really tracks with Metal, for sure. Such a big heart - and to be honest a big fan of the Leo’s haha so that’s a bonus for us

You really helped her in June with two whole bills and treatments. I think in total Dxp raised over $ 400 and her heart is so truly and forever grateful 🥰

She shed some tears she was so touched and we both really appreciated it.

The prognosis is indeed looking positive and long term hoping her health is only going to improve.

I believe she’s had several rounds of a treatment altho I recall her at some point mentioning an allergic reaction to the chemo - I’ll ask her to clarify.

The courses then had to be adjusted.

But at least 15 rounds yes.

They were really hoping for a surgical solution and that has been the big goal if I am correct in remembering.

Now they are confirming the growth at least has slowed or stopped - oncology is looking at the next step, checking for remaining faulty cells etc

I’m not very good at medical details sorry Star.

I’ll ask Metal but the go fund me link also has her personal updates with info if there’s any missing deets

Metal got her scan results today. The doctor said he saw no sign of disease and what he saw looks like scar tissue and he has currently labeled Metal as in remission.! She will still need to do chemo until the oncologist surgeon decides what to do and in case there is very microscopic cancer cells that are present. But as of now, it looks like the chemo killed or is killing off the cancer. Just wanted to share! Some great news and thanks to Dxp we managed to raise $ 400 towards her treatment so thank you to everyone for that generosity 🥰

The US.

I don’t know this member but I did donate to her gofundme so I receive updates. Her cancer is spreading and she is in need of support for upcoming surgeries.

Final update:

Metalaqua passed away yesterday.

I believe she was scheduled for another surgery on Friday (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but time was not on her side.

I did not know her, but I hope her friends and family can remember the good things about her during this hard time.
